This natural destination consistently draws tourists from around the world each year. Visitors can embark on a boat at the Cahuaré jetty, where they might be fortunate enough to spot native species of the Canyon, along with a wide variety of birds and flora. The journey offers a view of a stunning waterfall, regarded as one of Chiapas’ most beautiful natural wonders. This waterfall, shaped like a Christmas tree and standing 250 meters tall, was formed as water smoothed the stone, and the moisture encouraged moss growth, creating the pine-like shape. During the rainy season, it becomes a must-see attraction for anyone traveling by boat through the waters of Sumidero Canyon.
