Sea lions, seabirds, and often dolphins are frequently spotted. With small group sizes, it feels like sailing with friends. Passionate about sailing, we turn off the motor as soon as possible to let you enjoy the tranquility of the wind in the sails. Our catamarans are spacious and comfortable for guests of all ages, offering multiple seating areas to find your perfect spot. Convenient bathroom facilities are available on board. Guests are welcome to take the wheel and feel the power of the sails. While we may not be the cheapest option, our “World Class” crew is well-compensated, ensuring a fantastic experience and memorable moments.

We believe that while being a tourist is great, it’s even better to not feel like one. Our catamarans are fitted with cushioned seats and backrests, making them suitable for guests of all ages, be it children or elderly individuals. Arrive at least 20 min. early. Turn into Sunroad Safe Harbor Marina Parking lot just before the flag pole. Go through the parking gate, and take a ticket, or put your credit card in. Park on the Left side of the parking lot, and wait for your Captain at Gate 1 which has yellow Adirondack chairs.

We had the best time! Captain Ryan was amazing an amazing captain and we had the best time! Highly recommend. - we booked all 6 tickets for a private experience and Captain Ryan was extremely communicative making planning easy, the boat was beautiful and clean. We had an amazing time!

Perfect Sunday - It was a very nice trip and the captain was fabulous. We enjoyed everything. The trip included alcoholic beverages, and a very knowledgeable captain who was telling us everything we needed to know about San Diego.

Sunset Sail - Absolutely incredible experience! Captain Ryan was super personable and very knowledgeable about the area. It was my grandparents first time on a sailboat and they could not be more elated with their experience! I would go every weekend if I could! 10/10 experience

Sunset Catamaran Sailing Adventure - If you're looking for an unforgettable sunset experience on the water, a sail with Fun Cat’s Tigress in San Diego Bay is a must! From start to finish, the entire trip was smooth, relaxing, and absolutely breathtaking.
The Tigress is a well-maintained and comfortable catamaran, offering plenty of space to enjoy the views. Captain Ryan was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, making sure my family felt at ease. We took our grandparents out on their first sailing experience at the young age of 80 and they had the time of their lives! This experience is for the everyone!
The real highlight, of course, was the sunset and city skyline in the evening. The atmosphere was peaceful, with the sound of the waves and a light ocean breeze adding to the experience. The wind picked up on our way out to Cabrillo National Monument which allowed use to experience the true joy in allowing the boat to SAIL!
Whether you're a local or visiting San Diego, this sunset sail is a perfect way to unwind and take in the beauty of the bay. Highly recommend!

Extremely peaceful & unforgettable cruise on the ocean. - A unforgettable experience. Captain Ryan was a perfect host for our group adventure on the sea. The locals told us he’s the best and I didn’t know his boat was a rare one of a kind. What a beautiful night in San Diego, on the sea. Very beautiful and peaceful and an extremely memorable time with our friends/family.

So beautiful - This catamaran sunset ride was up and beyond my expectations! I’m doing this again and bringing friends next time. The perfect boat and captain. I highly recommend.

Boring and a waste of time and money. - We went in a circle around the bay/harbor very slowly. Capt. Andy didn’t really give any insight into landmarks unless someone asked. He told us where the drinks were but never offered to get anyone anything. And people were encouraged to not use blankets in the front because the blankets might get splashed. So I guess they don’t wash them after being used. At times we just drifted. When we turned around we got back to the entrance of the harbor at 5:10 and drifted for at least 30 mins. Tour was over at 6:00. One woman fell asleep. Total waste of time. You could have just parked your car near the marina and had the same view we did. I would definitely skip this tour.
