Great food and walking tour. - This was an amazing walking tour. Plenty of great local food and Albert knows a lot about the town. Albert made it super easy to meet up and walk across the border and he got us back. He made the whole process super easy and fun. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.

Enjoyable day in Tijuana - We had an excellent visit to Tijuana with Albert enjoying a lovely afternoon and lots of good food. We stopped at a large open air market offering everything food related both familiar and unfamiliar. Albert identified a number of street vendors in local neighborhoods allowing us to try delicious items prepared just before we ate them. The tour included all the food we consumed and local transportation within Tijuana as well as 3-4 miles of walking on level streets that were quite irregular. Logistics worked smoothly with no delays crossing the border in either direction on a weekday visit.

A Must-Do Tijuana Food Adventure from San Diego - Wild Foodie Tours delivered an unforgettable experience on our Tijuana walking food tour! While vacationing in San Diego and searching for a true food adventure, we came across this tour—and it ended up being a highlight of our trip. We met on the U.S. side of the border, walked across into Mexico, and spent the day exploring Tijuana on foot through an incredible tasting journey. Our guide, Albert, was absolutely amazing—knowledgeable, engaging, and the perfect balance of educational and fun. The tour kicked off at Mercado Hidalgo, a massive outdoor produce market, where we sampled fresh fruit dusted with chili-lime seasoning—unexpectedly delicious! From there, we enjoyed an incredible lineup of authentic tacos, including fish ceviche tostadas, grilled marlin tacos, and classic Baja fried fish tacos. Honestly, I still can’t decide which was my favorite. We wrapped things up with freshly made churros, the perfect ending to a fantastic day. This tour was delicious, eye-opening, and so well organized. We highly recommend Wild Foodie Tours to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable food experience.

Fun Day in Tijuana with Albert - We spent the day with Albert on the Tijuana Foodie Tour. The communication leading up to the tour was excellent. Albert is very responsive and accommodating. He let us know in advance that if we had a Global Entry card, it would speed the process on the way back. Wow! He wasn’t kidding! The lines to come back into the US were extremely long. We sped right through. We began the tour with Albert walking us across the border. Albert is very friendly and knowledgeable. We felt safe at all times. He took us to places off the beaten path to try different foods. It was not even remotely touristy. The food (especially the seafood) was very fresh and made right in front of us. We had a great time on our tour and would recommend it to anyone. At the end, Albert walked us back across the border. It was so great having him as our guide. We had such a positive experience in Tijuana because of Albert.

Rosarito Tour – Thanks for a Great Day - We had an incredible Rosarito food tour with Albert. Every stop was authentic, off the beaten path, and absolutely delicious—from marlin tacos to wood-fired carne asada. Albert’s knowledge, energy, and personal touch made the day special. If you’re looking for the real Baja food experience, skip the tourist traps and book this tour.

Off the Beaten Path - Earlier this week I took the Tijuana Street Food Tour. It was excellent! Our leader was Albert, who was very friendly and knowledgeable. He knew Tijuana thorougly and took us to several wonderful places. Not having traveled to Mexico for many years, I found the atmosphere totally safe. The food was fresh and totally authentiic. It was fun to see the owners/cooks prepare the food in front of our eyes. Two things stood out to me: 1) the food (especially the seafood) was extremely fresh, and 2) almost the entirety of the tour was "off the beaten path". Not at all touristy! It was a fun and affordable way to visit Tijuana and get a great meal too!

Awesome food and host - Albert was the perfect host for our walking tour in Tijuana. He's very knowledgeable about the food scene in TJ. We appreciated his focus on lesser-known eateries and were rewarded with great food. I highly recommend his tours. We're looking forward to his Rosarito tour later this year. Highly recommend Wild Foodie Tours.

It's okay - We did this food tour to Tijuana last Saturday. Unfortunately, we weren't too thrilled with the food selection. Maybe it's because we are familiar with Tijuana that we're being over critical, but we have tasted better food in our opinion and expected more than what we got for that price. I just don't feel like we got our money's worth since the items we got are pretty cheap, but others might enjoy it more, especially if you're not familiar with Mexican food or if it's your first time in Tijuana. I have nothing negative to say about our tour guide Albert. He was very nice and friendly.
