Off-the-Beaten-Path Anthony Bourdain Vibes - If you’re looking for an Anthony Bourdain-esque food adventure in TJ, look no further! Albert took our family to some legitimately delicious spots off the beaten path, and it was really fun to share it with fellow foodies on the tour. A local even stopped to ask us how we heard about one of our taco stops, since it’s not a tourist spot. That’s how we knew it was legit! The tour was expertly curated based on Albert’s years of experience dining through TJ. We experienced fresh fruit and regional snacks at the open air market, locals shopping on a Sunday, the freshest ceviche, a variety of different tacos, beverages, and the best churros we’ve ever had. We also learned a lot of new things about Mexico! Albert was really kind, funny, and generous. This tour is also great for kids! At the end of the tour, my niece said, “I’m only going to back Mexico if Albert’s touring.” I highly recommend him, great guy!

Tiajuana food tour - Must-visit Tijuana walking street food tour with Albert! Our family of 5 really enjoyed the food walking tour in Tijuana. It was fun to walk through local areas, enjoying food, the market, and learning about the beautiful culture & history!   The tastings were all delicious -we loved the fish tacos and all the different flavors of the agua Fresca!  It felt safe & easy to navigate around the city! I think it benefits everyone to book direct on the wild foodie tours website--cheaper prices for us and the guides avoid having to pay the high commissions. This tour offers a unique off-the-beaten-path foodie experience with lots of authentic Mexican food!

Wonderful Experience - The Tijuana Walking Street Food Tour was just what we were looking for. Albert was knowledgeable in getting around the area and where the best places to stop for a bite to eat were. I felt safe and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We got to sample a variety of foods and were able to purchase additional items along the way. I was so full by the time the tour was done! I highly recommend taking a food tour with Albert!

It was a great... - It was a great experience. My tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and the food. When walking around the open air market he knew just about all the things there and I was able to learn more about what they eat and some things I eat but had no idea what it looked like. During the walking tour we went to where the locals ate so to me the food was very good and authentic as opposed to the busy tourist area. He also pointed out areas such as the hotel where the first Cesar salad was made and the red lights district was. Not only did I learn about the food but the history as well, it was a great experience

Tijuana street food tour - Albert takes you on a wonderful street food tour. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about food. The logistics were seamless. We all met at McDonald's before the border and crossed together so it eases your mind on where to find your guide. Our first stop was the mercado where we ate fresh fruit and there were many stalls of fruits, nuts, local honey . Where you can do a little shopping. Then off to the taco's. We walked around TJ ate 4 different kinds of tacos , had a large agua fresca. At the end we fresh churros that were to die for. We passed by many land marks. I had no idea Caesar salad was invented there. Passed the original restaurant. Albert opened our eyes to the food seen that's literally in my backyard. We would definitely recommend this tour or any other tour Albert hosts. He is very personable.

A must walking food tour in San Diego/Tijuana - OMG, had so much fun on this tour. We had a great group & a wonderful guide, Albert. He took us to places where we had the best “street” tacos, ceviche, fresh watermelon & freshly made churros. I’ll definitely will take this tour again and other walking tour he offers.

Enjoyable day in Tijuana - We had an excellent visit to Tijuana with Albert enjoying a lovely afternoon and lots of good food. We stopped at a large open air market offering everything food related both familiar and unfamiliar. Albert identified a number of street vendors in local neighborhoods allowing us to try delicious items prepared just before we ate them. The tour included all the food we consumed and local transportation within Tijuana as well as 3-4 miles of walking on level streets that were quite irregular. Logistics worked smoothly with no delays crossing the border in either direction on a weekday visit.
