Great way to enjoy the Golden Gate Bridge and more. - Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Close proximity to the bike paths. We enjoyed the comfort of the bikes, the scenery and the price.

Bikes were great, very... - Bikes were great, very easy to use and was a great day out. The staff working on the day had appalling attitude and were so rude it was very uncomfortable.

Disgusting attitude towards their customers - "We've got your money, so who cares?" - I booked an eBike for two reasons. Firstly, I wanted to test one out with a view to purchasing one. Secondly, as I am not that fit, I wanted something that wouldn't take much, if any, effort in getting up the very steep hills of San Francisco, which according to the advert on Trip Advisor, "A high-quality electric Cannondale bike is ideal for cruising up and down San Francisco's famous hills without breaking a sweat", was the perfect solution for me. When I arrived I was greeted by a vey pleasant young lady who gave me an albeit brief introduction to the bike, and then made the necessary adjustments to the height of the seat. However, no offer of a helmet was made, even though it states in the details of the advert that one is included in the price. I then set off, with no map, (which again is supposed to be included), only a map of Sausolito. I came to my first hill on the way to The Golden Gate Bridge and instantly found the going incredibly difficult. So I made my way back to where I'd picked the bike up from. Apparently, I'd somehow turned off the electric motor, which is why I found the first hill such hard going, but when I asked why I didn't have a throttle, I was told that it's because the bike is a Pedal Assist bike, which is a completely different thing altogether to an eBike; "Pedal-assist e-bikes require the rider to pedal in order to activate the electric motor, while throttle-controlled e-bikes have a handlebar-mounted throttle that allows riders to control the speed and acceleration without the need for pedalling". When I protested that I'd booked an eBike, I was told that there was none available as the person who was on the evening shift hadn't put any on charge, and it would take hours for one to be ready. I personally don't think that they have any eBikes, and that I was being fobbed off! So, I was left with two choices. Either I carry on with the bike that I had or abandon the day, and probably not get my money back, so I opted for the first choice. Although the Pedal Assist did its job, and even though it wasn't an exceptionally warm day, I was dripping with sweat at the end of the day, particularly after I had to push the damned thing up some of the steep hills in the centre of San Francisco. Which is not what I signed up for! When I returned the bike there was a young guy there, and when I expressed my feelings about having to pedal everywhere his response was so nonchalant it was if he didn't give a damn. Which appears to be the attitude of the whole outfit! Personally, I wouldn't touch this company again with a barge-pole. I'd use the company Blazing Saddles, which are a couple of doors down.

Logistics is not working - It's embarrassing and annoying that the ferry tickets weren't there when we picked up the bicycles. Had to wait for over an hour on them!!! After all, we pay for a combined product - which then doesn't work anyway!

Oversold our rentals… - We showed up for our 4 full day e-bike rentals and they had rented them out to someone else. We had a reservation and had prepaid days in advance! They couldn’t even refund us there. Told us to email and inquire about getting our money back!! Be careful!

TRIPADVISOR error - There were no bikes waiting for us , according to the landlord it was a mistake of TRIPADVISOR, they had entered a different location . In short, no bicycles, but money lost. TRIPADVISOR will you provide the refund?

old and unreliable - the bikes we were given were not in good shape... 11 bike I couldn't use 3 or 4 of the middle gears and the chain came off twice the bike my daughter was using the chain came off and it got stuck in the sprocket and I had to pull and pry it out and got my hands covered with grease. none of the bikes had a phone carrier so we could use the self guided tour since we couldn't watch maps as we went

Did not get what we paid for - They were out of bikes at the place we reserved, so after spending $25 on public transportation to get there, I had to spend $20 more to go to their other store. When we got there we found out that they only had 1 e-bike and the other 2 were pedal assist. This is not what we thought we were getting…especially in San Francisco. Not a good experience at all.
