Kids and family loved this - We had a wonderful time at the SkyStar -- our kids and their cousins loved every time we went up and came down. They got to see San Francisco, the Bay, Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Marin from a totally different perspective. One kid said "this is the best ride ever..." Definitely a great stop for a family visit!

Great view - Pretty neat ride. I would suggest going at night. More city lights to see. And it was a little warm in the gondola

Overpaid - Great experience with the Wheel itself! But didn't know that San Francisco residents (which I am) only need to pay $15 (or $17?), so I overpaid at Viater, which was $19.

Fun day in the city - Great way to see the wharf and spend time with family. This was a nice stop after grabbing lunch on Mission st.

Great Views - Spur of the moment decision to do this ride but I'm glad we did. Luckily the sky was clear and the sun was shining so the views were great...Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz etc. could all be seen. The staff were all friendly and seemed to enjoy working there. It was quiet so we didn't have to queue for hours - only a matter of minutes. We had quite a few turns round. It would have been good to have a map or something to point out some of the less obvious landmarks. It looked really pretty at night.

Cute & fun - Such a cute way to see the skyline and across the bay. We (a party of 2) received a pod to ourselves and the wheel went around 3 times

Spectacular views, especially during sunset - Highly recommend coming here when the sun is setting. We did that and experienced a beautiful sunset over spectacular views of the city and golden gate bridge. Cost of photos expensive and wheel ride doesnt go for too long but worth experiencing once.

Do it at night! - This was ok. Nice view of city and wharf. Probably better at night. Staff were great and really helpful.
