• Ocean Beach - Your surf lesson begins on the beach at Ocean Beach, where your instructor will guide you through the fundamentals of surfing in a simple and beginner-friendly way. You’ll learn how to pop up on the board, balance, and understand basic wave timing.
  After the beach instruction, you’ll head into the ocean and practice in safe, controlled white-water waves (typically 1–3 feet), ideal for first-time surfers. Your instructor will be right there with you in the water, helping position your board and guide you into waves.
  Most students are able to stand up and ride waves during their first lesson, making this an exciting and rewarding experience. After 3-4 lessons you will be able to catch waves on your own and ride them without assistance.
  All equipment is provided, including a surfboard and wetsuit, so you can focus entirely on learning and having fun.

This experience is designed specifically for beginners and requires no prior surfing experience.
