Ocean Beach - The surf lesson kicks off on the sands of Ocean Beach, where the instructor will introduce the basics of surfing in an easy-to-understand manner for beginners. Participants will learn how to pop up on the board, maintain balance, and grasp basic wave timing.
Following the beach session, participants will venture into the ocean to practice in safe, controlled white-water waves (usually 1–3 feet), perfect for those new to surfing. The instructor will be in the water, assisting with board positioning and guiding participants into waves.
Most students manage to stand up and ride waves during their initial lesson, making it an exhilarating and fulfilling experience. After 3-4 lessons, participants will be able to catch and ride waves independently.
All necessary equipment, including a surfboard and wetsuit, is provided, allowing participants to focus solely on learning and enjoying themselves.
This experience is tailored specifically for beginners and does not require any prior surfing experience.
