Fantastic ATM Tour and Picnic - Overall great tour with no issues. 5 stars all the way! Mayan Expeditions was very communicative, sending reminders, list of things to bring, etc as the date got closer. We went with the family, 2 daughters in their 20s. Our guide Dimas was fantastic. He picked us up at our hotel right on time. He was very knowledgeable and also did a great job of making my wife, who is a bit claustrophobic, comfortable getting through some of the tighter areas of the tour. We always felt very safe. The lunch was roasted chicken with beans and rice. My daughters liked it better than the lunches at the restaurants in town. Overall, I would recommend both the tour and Mayan Expeditions.

Experience of a lifetime - The tour is our trip’s highlight at San Ignacio. Our guide Richard was so knowledgeable about the Mayan history, the artifacts, and the stories of ATM cave. The ATM cave is an experience to remember for life. It is definitely a more intense hike as you have to walk for 30minutes and swim through half submerged portion of the cave. We do see a lot of people in 50s-70s completing the tour with no problem!

Awesome experience - This was an incredible experience. Junior and Emil were excellent guides. The cave is more challenging than expected, but that made completing it even more rewarding.

Do not miss the ATM cave - f you are looking for an adventurous tour don't miss the opportunity to explore the ATM cave! I can't recommend it enough! The artifacts- pots used for offerings and skeletons remains are pristine. I huge shot out to our guide, Alex ~ he was extremely informative and an expert caver making us feel comfortable with allthe physical requirements of getting into and (more importantly) back out of the cave safely. The man deserves a raise just for all the help he gave my 5 year old exploring with us. Traversing the cave requires crawling, swimming, climbing and squeezing that put me thought a gym workout. Without Alex's help my son would never had been able to reach the foot holds and climbing required. Also the photos emailed afterwards and the % of funds going to conservation from MayaWalk made it easily the best choice of companies to go with. ATM cave was certainly a highlight of our trip and my son's favorite day.
