Nohoch Che’en caves, situated at Caves Branch, is undoubtedly among the top ten attractions in Belize. The country boasts the largest cave system in Central America, with Caves Branch being a part of this natural marvel. In 2010, Nohoch Che’en, also known as Caves Branch, was designated a 15.5-acre archaeological reserve by the Belize government. This area is home to numerous caves, including Petroglyph, Pothunters, Satabe, Footprints, St. Margret’s Cave, Pottery Cave, and Caves Branch Rock Shelter, among others.
Visitors can also enjoy Belize’s subtropical jungle by zip-lining over the rainforest canopy, offering breathtaking views of the Caves Branch River. The rainforest hosts a diverse array of insects, birds, and animals, such as spider monkeys and kinkajous, which can be seen during the zip-lining tour. Participants are secured in a harness attached to a cable, and experienced guides provide instructions on how to launch from the platform and glide into the forest canopy.
