Can't miss your visit to cabo de gata - Very good experience even if it rained but it was more exciting. A tenner for monitors who at all times showed their professionalism

Excellent kayaking and snorkeling trip - Good communication from the start - WhatsApp after booking with directions and what to bring. We loved this activity - we drove from Mojácar to do this as it had great recommendations. We were the only English in the group but were welcomed and Cecilia spoke to us in English very well. Good safety instructions and directions from both Cecilia and the other instructor, Juan (sorry if I’ve got your name wrong!). Good for all levels of kayaking and swimming. Good amount of time snorkeling - you could do it with or without a life vest. Would recommend this activity and company 👍

Fantastic worth the money - Highly recommend this company. Very professional kept in touch when weather/winds an issue and on the day was amazing. We were the only English family but were made to feel welcome and had a fantastic English speaking guide and support . I would use this company again

A must-do in your first day in the park! - First day in Cabo de Gata natural park, we booked a three hours tour with kayak with Medialuna. We did not know anyone, so of course we chosed what was available among the many tour operators in San Jose. But I can say that it was a very good decision (but read till end to discover why I did not gave five stars). It is highly recommended to call (we chatted via whatsapp) and book in advance, we did it one day befor. A practical hint: bring what you need (like car key, wallet, ...) in a bag that you can leave at the kiosk. They will provide diver's mask, but of course if you have your own you can bring with you on the kayak. There is also space to put your flippers, if you want to bring them and feel more comfortable while swimming on deep sea. The area of the excursion depend o the wind, that day we dis from playa of San Jose to cala tomate. The guys explained everything about the coast and it's volcanic origin, we visited some caves and saw the remains of corals underwater, unfortunately destroyed by all people entering the caves (a contradiction, that's why we were very careful using the paddles, but here there is the need for park regulation), but the most beautiful part of our adventure arrived when we anchored the kayaks and jumped into the blue water, finding an incredible variety of fishes, poseidonia and also a big starfish. That's why I recommend to do it immediately, first of all because the wind could become strong and they will not offer the tour (what happened the last days of our vacation), so you need to take the chance as soon as you can without waiting another day that could may not come, and then because you will immediately understand the power of Cabo de Gata natural park! Then, why not the five stars? Because I believe that who works in a natural and protected area, must take initiative to protect the nature going beyond the official regulations, if they are not enough. So I think that all the operators should decide that access to caves is forbidden, to not destroy the fragile environment.

Overall good but felt we were a little overlooked as we were the only ones not Spanish. - Very good, we were the only English so struggled a little with language as only limited translations. I enjoyed the snorkelling best but sadly me and my son are the only ones in the group who didn’t have their picture taken of this activity which I’m very sad about. I also thought from the description that we were going into caves but this did not happen. I struggled to get back into the kayak after snorkelling (I’m 57 and probably not the fittest) but didn’t get any help. Overall it was a good experience but I felt out of my comfort zone and maybe a little more support would have helped put me at ease but it was my choice to ‘give it a go’ so can’t really complain - just trying to give an honest account of how I felt.
