Corcovado National Park

Corcovado National Park - Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before transferring to the airport for a domestic flight to Drake Bay or Palmar Sur. Upon arrival, a Casa Corcovado representative will meet you and arrange your transfer to the hotel. Casa Corcovado is ideally located on the edge of Corcovado National Park, offering luxury first-class service and cuisine, along with exciting activities. Spanish colonial-style bungalows are spread throughout a garden for maximum privacy. This unique lodge provides accommodations built with a strong commitment to conservation, harmonizing with the landscape and environment, reflecting our dedication to responsible tourism. Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge is the perfect base for an immersive rainforest experience. All meals are included at the lodge.

Corcovado National Park Tour

Corcovado National Park - Spend a full day in the heart of the rainforest, where Corcovado National Park offers unparalleled beauty, abundant wildlife, and lush foliage. After breakfast, board a boat for a 25-minute ride to the San Pedrillo Station, the northernmost ranger station of Corcovado National Park.

A one-hour walk along the beach, led by a local naturalist guide, takes you to a forest trail up the Rio Pargo. This area is rich with enormous primary growth trees adorned with epiphytic plants like orchids, bromeliads, and ferns. The jungle’s quiet is occasionally interrupted by the guttural calls of howler monkeys, the cries of scarlet macaws, and the rustling of agoutis in the underbrush. Sloths move slowly among the branches overhead. The rainforest canopy provides a cool environment for hiking along well-maintained trails.

At midday, enjoy lunch under the shade of a mango tree on Llorona Beach. The next part of the adventure is a walk up the San Pedrillo River.

Cano Island Park Tour

Cano Island - A day trip to Caño Island promises an unforgettable experience for divers, snorkelers, hikers, and nature enthusiasts. The island is located about 8 miles off the coast of the Osa Peninsula. You may have the chance to see schools of dolphins swimming around the boat, and whales are often spotted during their migration season. Caño Island rises like a giant emerald from the sea, with soaring coastal cliffs, white-sand beaches, and a densely forested interior, making it one of the most dramatic landmasses in the area.

Divers and snorkelers will enjoy an underwater playground of caves, cliffs, and canyons at seven separate dive sites. Snorkelers can see schools of colorful tropical fish closer to shore. Cano Island is surrounded by five platforms of low reefs where over a dozen species of coral thrive.

Transfer Corcovado – San Jose - Arenal

Arenal Volcano National Park - Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before transferring to the local airport for a domestic flight to San Jose. Upon arrival, a Greenway Tours representative will meet you and provide a land transfer to Fortuna Town and Arenal Volcano. Check in at Hotel Magic Mountain or a similar establishment and enjoy some leisure time.
