Great tour of San Jose & Cartago ! - This company arranged for a super guide, Paul. He was very informative and enthusiastic We had contact early thru WhatsApp so were able to adjust & confirm exactly what we wanted to do, with Paul adding good recommendations. This was a perfect choice for our one available day in San Jose !

Friends in San Jose - Paul was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful experience of Cartago and San Jose! We had a taste of Costa Rican culture and cuisine. He showed us sights we would not have experienced on our own. We were 6 older adults and sightseeing from 9-3 was a little much for some of us. An hour shorter would have worked best for our group. But overall a great experience!

Gear intro to San Jose! - Our guide was fabulous! Very knowledgeable. We covered a lot of territory in 2 hrs and ended with an amazing lunch in an authentic restaurant. Government buildings, national parks and Central Market. Worth every penny!

Paul is the best! - Paul was an amazing tour guide! He knows the city very well with lots of interesting places to see and learn about the culture of Costa Rica. He took time to coordinate our tour making it a very unique experience. I highly recommend Paul & viator.

City Walking Tour - We had a nice walking tour. Ricardo was knowledgeable, especially about trees and plants. The tour guide was changed at the last minute and our customized requests sent in advance were not honored.

The guide was not very... - The guide was not very thorough and gave some misinformation. San Jose is not the nicest city but we still wanted to learn about its history and main sites

The tour guide was very... - The tour guide was very nice. He told us that we will be going to Central market for lunch, but failed to mention that we were paying for his as well (he put it all on one tab and passed the bill to me). we thought that we would be able to tour the inside of the museums, but we were only able to tour the outside of them. Transportation is not included, but he will come pick you up and tell you after the fact that it will be an additional fee. He was a very pleasant, funny and intellectual man, though. Overall the experience was great with beautiful sightseeing and a good tour guide.
