Highly recommended! - Had an amazing day! Saw whale spouting, a turtle, lizards, iguanas, land crabs, water life, stripped fish and bats. Sarah was absolutely the best tour guide. She shared and was knowledgeable about the indigenous Taino’s and the hieroglyphs. The walk in was great as well as following Sarah through the cave. My eleven year old wasn’t as excited about entering and exiting the cave but she liked the animals and loved the beach stop.

Well worth the experience. - First off shout out to our guide Edward. He was full of knowledge, engaging, and fully vested in showing off PR and all its beauty. We were very happy we chose the tour in the end. The breath taking sites and indigenous history was very interesting. Yes parts of this hike were challenging but Edward made sure everyone was safe and our kids (9,11) were very proud of their accomplishments at the end of the trip. Still talking about it today.

Riveting and Authentic adventure and full immersion with the island of Puerto Rico - This is so far from the typical bland sightseeing tacky tourism often found in the tropics. Edward was the most exceptional, handsome, hilarious, and entertaining guide and led us through quite possibly the best tourism experience we’ve ever had. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about the sights and wonders of Puerto Rico. He customized our day based on the amount of time we had and brought us to the heart of the island to some of the most beautiful places off the beaten path. He is very safety minded and takes excellent care of everyone. The entire itinerary was exciting, fun, riveting, and adventurous. If you have the privilege of being in Puerto Rico under any circumstances you absolutely must book a tour with Edward. We were on a cruise ship and he met us at Port and had us back with plenty of time to spare. Look no further for the experience of a lifetime.

Omitted vital details of the cave portion. - This would have been a beautiful hike if my sole purpose for choosing the excursion was not for cave exploration that my kids wanted to experience (and was to be one of the highlights of the trip). The tour guide was great (5 star guide) but the description of the tour left out vital information such as the danger of falling to into a chasm to your death. The cave that we went for was left to the end of a somewhat technically difficult (think falling on spikes if you slip) that my kids handled well. At the beginning we were told the cave was at the end and about 50% of the tourists do not end up going in. Apparently there is a ledge inside the cave of deadly altitude that needs to be side stepped. The description made it clear that the trip was not for the claustrophobic leading us to believe that there were tight spaces to maneuver, but the technical skill and danger was not described. Apparently after multiple attempts my kids were able to climb up a difficult wall to at least look onto the entrance of the cave (but did not enter the dangerous cave). My husband and I couldn’t make it up the wall to even see inside. To be fair we did see a good number of people outside our tour make it inside. They seemed more local. Only 1 of the 6 who went on our tour made it into the cave. My kids were disappointed and frustrated. If they were honest they would get tourists who are the right fit for the tour and others who may just want the beautiful view of the arches over the ocean.
