• Plaza Antonia Quiñones - Experience the longest-running Salsa event in Puerto Rico! Guided by a local Puerto Rican dancer, participants will:

1. Enjoy a complimentary Caribbean cocktail
2. Learn Latin dance steps and techniques
3. Discover the cultural history of Caribbean music
4. Head out for a night of dancing to a live band at a local Salsa bar!

The gathering begins at an outdoor park with a refreshing rum punch as everyone gets acquainted. Participants will then learn the fundamentals of Latin dancing, starting with “Merengue” to grasp the basic techniques. Next, they will explore “Salsa de Calle,” or “Street Salsa,” the style favored by Puerto Rican locals. Once ready, the group will head to a nearby nightlife spot to experience a live Salsa band and watch locals dance. Participants can join in or simply enjoy the performance.

This experience is available rain or shine. The meeting point is an outdoor park, but there is a sheltered area for dancing in case of rain.

No prior dance experience is necessary.

Different Salsa bars are visited on different nights, so the live music venue will vary depending on the night booked.
