- Wear bathing suit or bring along. in case you want to dive in one the natural ponds.
- Good traction shoes, Examples: Keen, Five Ten, La Sportiva. If you don’t have any of these options Good Sneakers (Nike, Reebok, Asics, Addidas, etc.)
- If concern by mosquitos, it is recommended you wear and extra layer under your shirt and pants. Example: long sleeve dry fit tee and compression cool dry sports tights pants base layer. Another option would be Hiking Pants or Bug Repellent
- Have good endurance, balance and coordination. Hiking Level (Off The Beaten Path) - Moderate to Challenging with some steep hiking and river trekking sections - Suitable for all Physically Fit People. (((Please be advised, most participants, that doesn’t fall into this category, usually cannot keep up the required pace, cope with the sustained hiking on steep terrain, and regularly do not complete the adventure. This usually slows everyone down and can result in a safety hazard.)))

Incredible experience, definitely have solid footwear - Amazing experiences and views you won’t get elsewhere. Started with a nice relaxing stop for breakfast with some extra delicious coffee. If you’re a coffee drinker you might even have the opportunity to have it specially made by André. The hike was beautiful and like nothing I’ve done before. It had it’s challenges but definitely worth it for me. You will be fully immersed in the woods, waterfalls and pools. Be prepared to get wet many times and possibly challenge yourself physically. There are several times when you’ll need to hold on to ropes as you move up and down the trail. But the points of elevation aren’t too extreme or long lasting. I highly recommend hiking boots for this tour. They were very helpful for me. André has clearly put a lot of time and effort into creating this beautiful experience and the food experiences are an extra nice touch!

Fantastic experience, the... - Fantastic experience, the tour exceeded all expectations! Great views, rewarding hikes, and delicious fruits! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, adding cultural context and local flavor to every part of the journey. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a mix of nature, activity, and authentic island charm!

Best experience in PR - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
This tour was amazing from start to finish! I loved that it was a small group — it really made everyone feel connected and friendly. The hike itself was so much fun — but definitely read all the info the tour guide sends you ahead of time so you’re fully prepared! Bring an extra change of clothes and shoes — you will get muddy, dirty, and wet, but that’s all part of the adventure.
The stops were great too — the coffee shop, the fresh fruit break, and lunch were all delicious and gave us a chance to relax and recharge.
But the best part of this whole experience was our tour guide, Andre. He is hands down the best guide you could ask for in Puerto Rico — so knowledgeable, funny, and he made everyone feel safe and excited to explore.
If you’re up for a real off-the-beaten-path adventure, don’t hesitate — book this tour! I’d do it again in a heartbeat. 🇵🇷✨

Andre's Paradise - I kicked off my one-week solo stay in Puerto Rico with a hike led by Andre. We jumped into waterfall pools, climbed rocks, and tackled some pretty steep hills to reach each waterfall. Every narrow path, slick climb, and moment of getting soaked (only to dry off and get soaked again at the next waterfall) was absolutely worth it. Not just for the stunning views or the unique countryside experience, but because Andre was incredibly easy to talk to and kept our spirits high throughout.
His forethought made a real difference. I ended up needing a hiking stick, snacks, and change of clothes and shoes. These were all things he had recommended in advance, and I’m so glad I brought them, except for the hiking stick which another person in the group kindly gave me after finding a sturdy stick on the ground early in the hike. Oops.
Anyway, this hike places you in a part of Puerto Rico that feels untouched. It is away from the big tourist crowds, overpriced meals, and unnecessary fees. What I appreciated most was how secluded it felt, how much care Andre has poured into crafting the route, and how the conversations along the way made the experience feel personal, grounded, and refreshingly uncommercial.
I forgot I was a tourist for most of the hike given how homey and authentic everything was.

Perfect choice to enjoy PR’s natural beauty - This tour exceeded my expectations in every way. Andre is a phenomenal guide, and the care that he has given to crafting the details of this experience make it truly special. This is not a the kind of tour where you are dodging other groups: these are private mountain trails in the central mountains of PR. Our small group was able to go at a pace that worked for everyone, and we got to enjoy both the trails and the waterfalls to the fullest. I am not exaggerating when I say that sitting on the rock underneath one of his waterfalls with the cool water cascading over my head was one of the most peaceful moments of my life. I'm not sure if I was there for 30 seconds or 20 minutes; time didn't seem to matter.
The hiking is not easy, but it is very doable if you wear the right shoes and are willing to put in moderate physical effort. I am not in the best shape (6' 235lbs, 47yo), not a hiker, and I had little trouble.
l'd enthusiastically recommend this tour at twice the price!

AMAZING Adventure - We had the BEST day with Andres in the mountains! It was a full day packed with laughs, culture, and amazing views. The food at both places we stopped at was top notch. Although the hike was difficult in some spots, the views and waterfalls were well worth it. Book your trip with Andres! You won’t regret such an intimate and amazing adventure!!

Amazing experience would try again ! - Andres was fantastic! He is genuinely enthusiastic about his work; he built the trail himself and has planted gorgeous flowers throughout. The waterfalls were breathtaking, as was the excellent fresh fruit he provided. The coffee was a lovely addition, and he takes accountability for the true Puerto Rican experience. If that wasn't enough, he also led us to a restaurant that served amazing cuisine for only $8 and had stunning views. Overall, he feels like a friend on this trip; he ensures that no one is left behind and that everyone is safe. If I went to Puerto Rico again, I would repeat this experience. If you are thinking about booking just do it !

Unique waterfall jungle tour - Andre did an amazing job, this was an extremely unique experience that can only be done with this tour. I have traveled all over the world and this experience really stood out to me. It can be physically demanding at times so be prepared but it is completely durable and just majestic. During the tour Andre adds surprises and you can feel he loves what he does and it reflects in his tour. I felt empowered after this experience and l have a feeling it will do the same with all of you who decide to book.

Whimsical and Special - Andre is a great and whimsical guy. The experience was incredibly fun to the point that it made us appreciate nature and PR in an entirely different and special way. It felt very intimate to have a small group and experience what felt like a chill day in Andre’s world. The tour has so much thought and passion in its crafting that you can feel it. Highlight of our trip and would 10/10 come back for it.
PS. Ask Andre to make you a leaf hat!!!

Absolute best hiking tour - no questions - This trip was far and away the highlight of our vacation. André was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and knowledgeable and made every detail about the trip fun. The hike itself is absolutely stunning - I still can't get over those waterfalls - and finishing with a delicious lunch of authentic Puerto Rican food was such a treat. If you're looking for a hiking tour, pick this one!!
