A Morning of Anticipation

The sun had barely begun its ascent over the horizon when I found myself standing outside my San Juan accommodation, eagerly awaiting the arrival of our guide, Mitchell. The promise of an exclusive waterfall adventure in Puerto Rico had me buzzing with excitement. As a former professional surfer, I’ve always been drawn to the water, and the thought of exploring hidden waterfalls and natural water slides was too tempting to resist.

After a few hours of exhilarating fun, we made our way back down the trail, our spirits high and our bodies pleasantly tired. Mitchell suggested a stop at Playa Luquillo, a beach renowned for its vibrant kiosks offering authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. As we settled in for a meal, Mitchell guided us through the menu, introducing us to local delicacies like mofongo and tostones.

The beach was a picture-perfect setting, the golden sand and azure waters providing a stunning backdrop to our feast. As I savored each bite, I couldn’t help but reflect on the day’s adventure.
