MUST PURCHASE RN PLEASE COME - A Bucket List Dream Come True: Hot Air Balloon Tour Over the Pyramids in Mexico City
If you’re ever in Mexico City, do not skip out on the hot air balloon tour over Teotihuacán — this experience was truly out of this world!
From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless and magical. The team was incredibly welcoming, and our pilot was not only experienced and professional, but also had the best energy — calm, confident, and made us feel super safe the entire time. He even shared some amazing insights about the area, adding so much richness to the experience.
Floating gently over the ancient pyramids as the sun rose was honestly one of the most surreal and breathtaking things I’ve ever done. Seeing the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon from that angle made me feel like I had traveled back in time. The views were insane — golden skies, endless landscapes, and history beneath your feet.
Everything from takeoff to landing felt smooth and magical. The whole tour was well organized and thoughtfully curated, ending with a cute breakfast and a little celebration that made the day feel even more special.
10/10 recommend this — it’s peaceful, thrilling, and absolutely unforgettable. The pilot and the whole crew made it feel like a VIP experience. It’s a must-do adventure that will stay with you forever!

Unforgettable Hot Air Balloon Experience Over Teotihuacán - This was hands down one of the most magical experiences I’ve had in Mexico. Watching the sunrise as our hot air balloon gently lifted off the ground was nothing short of surreal. The views over the ancient pyramids of Teotihuacán were absolutely breathtaking—the way the morning light hit the Pyramid of the Sun was like something out of a dream.
The entire experience was incredibly well-organized from start to finish. The crew was professional, warm, and made us feel completely safe the entire time. The car ride was smooth and safe. The flight was also very safe. They even added thoughtful touches like coffee before the flight and a celebratory toast afterward, which made it feel even more special.
Floating above history with dozens of colorful balloons around us was peaceful, thrilling, and deeply beautiful all at once. If you’re thinking about doing a hot air balloon ride in Mexico, don’t hesitate—this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that’s worth every second.

Early morning hot air balloon - We opted for the early morning hot air balloon. Such an early pick up but totally worth the views.
Nice sunrise photos and the experience was nice. After they brought us in to give champagne or juice.

Restaurant got my boyfriend sick - The balloon ride was fun, and a great overview of the temples and wider vistas, HOWEVER the restaurant got my boyfriend sick. He ate the fruit and drank the aguas frescas and became sick later that night and for the rest of our trip. I would encourage a tour package that skips the restaurant and advise to just pack your own lunch and snacks. Better safe than sorry.
