A delicious experience - A really enjoyable evening walking to a variety of restaurants and tasting both traditional dishes—like enchiladas mineras and chile en nogada—and more unique, unexpected flavors (delicious jicama tacos!). Elisa was a fantastic guide—super knowledgeable about the ingredients, regional variations, and cultural roots of each dish. It was fun, informative, and a great way to experience the richness of Mexican cuisine. The company was lovely, too. A fun and flavorful way to spend an evening in San Miguel!

Buen provecho - We enjoyed the food, the company and our guide, Elisa Torres. Lots of great conversation, finding connections and learning so much about the history of the food we were served.

Great time with Pascal and his love for food - It ended up being us as the only guests. Pascal our guide was really interesting. He’s a true foodie (we aren’t) so it was interesting to hear his take on the food we tried and discussing ours and his food preferences. Very enjoyable time, 5 stops, great tastes. The one weird thing, not Pascal’s fault, was that the night before we did the tacos and tequila tour with the same company, different guide (Sam who was also great) and this tour went to 3 restaurants that we did on the previous night’s tour. With 500 restaurants to choose from in SMA that doesn’t seem necessary.

Go with Pascal! - From soup to nuts, Pascal’s enthusiasm was wonderful. His choice of restaurant stops was unique. We’re still tasting the mole on the pomegranate topped enchiladas, and the lightness of the jicama taco. By the last stop, we felt like he was our new local friend. So much so that we signed up for his Music Tour & Lunch adventure the next day!
