A delicious way to learn about San Miguel’s culture! - Omar was a fantastic and fun guide. Who knew food had so much to do with Mexico’s history and various founding people? Every stop was delicious and scenic. I highly recommend this tour, but be prepared to walk several blocks between every stop.

Fantastic food, fantastic guide and fantastic company - What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. The tour was fabulous and we enjoyed the food. Our guide Sam was friendly, knowledgeable and a great resource for visitors. I also want to commend the company. My husband and I got our wires crossed connecting with our tour guide, and Ava was incredibly helpful and accommodating, rescheduling us for the following day. I highly recommend this wonderful tour.

Great Food Tour in San Miguel de Allende - German was a great tour guide on this 2-1/2 hour adventure. Interesting information was provided about history as well as food. Questions were answered by German in a friendly and informed manner. The food stops were well selected, each providing another aspect of Mexican food. All stops were within easy walking distance of each other and were attractive locations with excellent food. We had a great time and highly recommend both German and the tour.

This was an outstanding... - This was an outstanding way to kick off our vacation in San Miguel de Allende. Our guide Sam not only introduced us to a variety of delicious foods at 5 different stops (3 savory and 2 sweet), he shared historical and cultural insights and engaging stories about the city. Highly recommend!

Excellent small group food tour - All six in our group enjoy this tour and our guide. Alisa was very knowledgeable of traditional foods in the area as well as regional differences in Mexico. We all appreciated hearing the history of various foods and the cultural significance. The food at the restaurants was delicious and filling. Another good aspect of this tour is that it is limited to 10 people making it must easier to hear the guide and interact with the group.

An organized and well-executed tour. - Our guide Omar was very knowledgeable about not only the history of the local food, but also of Mexican history. His style was conversational rather than lecture which I appreciated. Plus the food!

Worth every penny! - Our guide, Sam, was exceptionally knowledgeable about both local food and the fascinating history of San Miguel, skillfully weaving information in casual conversations without ever “lecturing.” The tour was a great time and a great way to acclimate to this magical place.

Very Basic - We were disappointed. The food was bland, basic garden variety that a tourist can get anywhere in the country. Nothing regional or foodie about the menu. The tour guide, not a local, although knowledgeable in local history, kept mispronouncing the Spanish names and sites he was referencing.
