The trip begins at Marina Fonatur where you will board our boat and its only 10 minutes to the best dive sites in Cozumel. With our guide you can choose the dive sites based on what you will want to see and conditions each day. Lunch and snacks will be served in the interval between the first and second dive. The total trip time is approximately 4 hours.

You must be a certified diver for this dive trip, if you are not certified please book our Discover Scuba Dive tour. Our dive boat The Cha-Kay is one of the fastest boats in Cozumel and can get to most reefs in under 12 minutes, this allows no stress diving if you are coming off a cruise we will get you back on time. The boat is covered for shade and has a change-room and bathroom on board. Enjoy world class diving on Cozumel’s reefs then enjoy lunch during the surface interval. The second dive will be at a different site than the first so that you can enjoy more reefs.

Rita & Dive Crew Rocked! - One of my favorite diving trips that I've been on - It has been a hot minute since we dove, and our dive master, Rita, did a great job going through the entire safety list that we needed on our dives. Many dive masters will let you swim around and just look at things. Not Rita! She was part of the trip the entire way, pointing out things every couple of minutes. She was meticulous in showing us marine life or things that we would have missed. She was so good that we requested her on our night dive as well. She did the same. Pointed out everything (sharks, eels, octopus and all the way down to the smallest sea snake.) The dive crew was great and we will certainly book again through Blue Note on our return.

2 Refresher course divers and a First time newly certified diver with Blue Note’s Rita!! Excellent instructor! - My husband and I needed a refresher course since it had been uuhhhh…quite a few years since our last dive. (We are certified and have many dives under our belt). We wanted to join our daughter on her first dive after receiving her Padi certification in a college course. Rita gave us a thorough instruction refresher. Her attention to detail for scuba safety and pointing out all kinds of sea life was fabulous! The crew was kind, and they had some of the best guacamole!! Thanks Blue Note for a great trip!

Great time!! - I had a truly wonderful scuba diving experience, thanks to Mauricio. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to create an exceptional and personalized experience. His professionalism and passion for diving were evident throughout, making the entire outing both safe and enjoyable. It was a very pleasant experience from start to finish—I highly recommend diving with Mauricio if you’re looking for a top-tier guide.

Absolute Masterclass - My girlfriend and I dove with Bluenote Scuba Cozumel in February 2025, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. She completed her Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD) certification, and the instructor was absolutely fantastic—super professional, patient, and made the whole course enjoyable and stress-free.
The equipment was in excellent shape—clean, reliable, and clearly well-maintained. It made a big difference in the overall comfort and ease of the dives. The crew was awesome too—friendly, helpful, and just great vibes all around. Everyone made us feel welcome and safe.
We also loved the boat—spacious, well-equipped, and really well-run. Everything was smooth and organized, which made for a super relaxed dive experience.
If you’re looking for a dive shop in Cozumel, Bluenote Scuba is a total win. We’ll definitely be back!

The BEST in Cozumel! - Blue Note is the BEST!! We loved our dive guides, Lou and Max were amazing. The owner and his wife are so friendly and the company is very easy to book with, and the dive master (Danny) and boat captain are amazing. We will dive with them every time we are in Cozumel! Blue Note has an amazing crew who helped us with anything we needed. We dropped a phone in its underwater case at the end of the dive, and the crew went above and beyond to locate the phone and retrieve it!They provide a fantastic homemade lunch during the surface interval, they'll take you to amazing dive locations each time, and they go above and beyond to address any problems that occur. They speak English, Spanish, and even French! I highly recommend diving with Blue Note, they will be your favorite dive charter in Cozumel!

Awesome Cozumel dive outfit - Great communication right from the start. Doug the owner was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and throughout the registration and certification process. I had some tight time limitations and Doug was able to work with my schedule and get me finished up. I had Daniel for a dive instructor. Very clear in goals and techniques and made it certification a very smooth process. Also just a good guy to hang out and dive with for a couple days. Can’t wait to get back and dive again with these guys!

There is a reason BlueNote is #1! - I love diving with BlueNote, they have the best boat on the island and Ludy and Max their dive masters are knowledgeable and very experienced. They really know the reefs and make the whole experience even more magical.

Private tour for divers and snorkelers - We just finished two days of diving with blue note. We rented the private boat so that we could have a smaller group for our divers and snorkeler. The communication with owner Doug was always prompt and professional. We had a top notch crew with Max, as our main dive instructor, Aureliano, as a private, instructor for our junior diver , And Mauricio and Lou as snorkel guides. The equipment was good quality and we had a couple of issues that were rectified immediately. We had excellent service with keen eye on safety. The entire group was more than thrilled with our experience. We highly recommend this scuba company. If you have a large enough group of snorkeler and scuba divers, consider getting the private boat. It is the way to go!

Wonderful as always, very professional - This is the 4th time diving with Blue Note in Cozumel, as always outstanding service by the crew, wonderful lunch and snacks. Always a pleasure to dive with this boat and crew.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! - We booked our tour a month prior with hopes of completing a two tank dive upon our arrival date into Cozumel via our cruise ship. I spoke directly with the owner of the company the morning of to confirm so there would be no confusion of our arrival time and paid! Immediately after paying there was no further communication from the company. Since the time was confirmed and the trip was booked, we proceeded to the marina. To our shock the boat left 10 minutes before our planned arrival time. Beware that this company does not have a dive shop at this location and we were basically stranded walking around for at least an hour to find out from another boat captain what had happened. We called the owner on repeat with no answer. Now stranded and wasting our only day at this port he finally returned our call two hours later to let us know he caught a flight and his only action was to give us a partial reimbursement (which was never issued to us!). This of course was disputed with the credit card company and won because of his negligence. There are several reputable companies that have dive shops at this marina that I would recommend over this company. Terrible business practices here!
