Must book! - What an amazing excursion! The staff were so fun and kind. Saw stingrays, fish, starfish, and a barracuda. Unfortunately we did not see a turtle. The sandbar was so beautiful they served us fish and chips in the water with sting rays swimming by everywhere. They provided lots of drinks (alcohol and non-alcoholic). Very affordable excursion. Highly recommend!

Best snorkel cruise ever - Our guides were great. Smooth boat ride to 3 snorkel stops. We saw amazing coral, fish, turtle and a tiny shark as well as a ton of star fish and rays. We bought the photo package which was reasonable and received so many great Uber water shots including a movie of the turtle. I highly recommend this tour.

Official Zeus was Best Excursion of the Cruise - Kim, Oliver, and Jorge were great. Easily the best excursion of our cruise. 20 minute walk from puerta maya cruise terminal. We saw starfish, turtle, dolphins, flying fish, lobster, rays, and a nurse shark. 1 consideration (customers to be aware of): tour didn’t return until almost 3pm (which can be tight for cruise departures, maybe they could depart earlier?)

Long boat ride with rushed snorkling - This excursion felt very chaotic. It is not suitable for children under probably 10, even though it says it is. We took our two kids ages 3 and 6. We assumed since it says they provide everything and kids of all ages can do it, that they would have the appropriate kids gear. They did not. They were struggling to find snorkeling gear that was small enough for them. So, our kids did not feel comfortable and did not do it. We have taken my 6 year snorkeling when he was 3 and it was not a problem because they had the right gear for children. Expect about an hour boat ride to the snorkeling spot. Which felt like forever. Then you will be rushed to get in the water as soon as they stop because they can't anchor on coral. I understand that but it was windy so the boat was moving fast. They rushed us even more because of the wind. We were then only in the first spot for maybe 10 minutes. It was not long. Second spot had a lot more to see and we were there for about 15 minutes. third spot was star fish and sand. Not much to see but it was probably where we spent the most time of 15-20 minutes. All these snorkeling spots are very crowded with other boats and people snorkeling. So with the wind and all the boats and being rushed, it was very chaotic. Our last stop was at a sand bar with waste deep water, this was the best part because they could anchor. We spent as much time as we wanted here and could swim around. they sting rays also swam through here. It was beautiful clear water and very enjoyable for everyone. This is also where the staff handed out drinks and snacks. They gave us Ceviche, I did not eat it but my husband did. He ended up very sick the next 2 days. We then took the hour boat ride back. Overall, it was fine and worked out. The things I wished I had known were that its not suitable for young kids, there is an hour boat ride to get to the snorkeling, snorkeling is only 10-20 minutes at a time or maybe shorter if its windy. There were about 20 other guests on the medium size catamaran style boat, with two people doing the snorkeling, a camera lady, and the boat driver. The staff was doing the best they could and really trying.

A too unpleasant experience - The treatment that the OSCAR tour guide gave us was very pleasant, the treatment he gave us, he did not want to give us the explanations in SPANISH being that from the beginning he was informed that we did not speak English. The treatment he gave American tourists was very friendly and treated them.very well and with us was ashhh when at no time we treated him badly

Illegal and blatant disrespect for wildlife - This experience was very expensive! The boat was small (I don’t know how it would accommodate 24 people ever…we had 14 and were pretty packed). The snacks and soda were mid (RC cola or small water or beer with chips and salsa). The boat wouldn’t pick us up at our resort even though it was on the way. After paying $260 for a family of 4 we had to pay another $44 upon arrival. The absolute worst part was the guide picking up shells from the ocean floor and FEEDING NURSE SHARKS to lure them out of their habitat. Not once or twice but three or four times. They did this so their photographer could get photos they try to have you buy at the end. It was so disappointing to see a local outfit disrespect the law and wildlife this way. This was in the national park. We will not be back to May-be Tours. Recommend taking the Fury instead.
