Cozumel - We recently returned from a half day tour with Elvis. He was an excellent guide. I think we saw over 60 different species and 10 life birds. He was extremely helpful with my handicapped husband. I highly recommend Elvis, even in the rain 🌧.

Fantastic experience with a Regional Master! - On a break from some exceptional snorkeling the previous three days, my wife and I met with Elvis Jimenez bright and early to view some gem varieties of a different kind. Right out of the gate Elvis was exceptional with the service he provided. He took the time to find out what our specific birding interests were and what we wanted our experience to be on our half-day tour together. We ended up visiting five different sites total and spotted at least 45 species that included a variety of shore birds, marsh and wading birds, perching birds, parrots, cuckoos, pigeons and doves, woodpeckers, and a couple species of hummers. Some of the local and regional endemic species included the Cozumel emerald, Cozumel vireo, and Mangrove yellow warbler. Like many of the bird guides we've encountered throughout Central America and Mexico, Elvis's enthuseasum for his craft is unmatched, but his willingness to share knowledge about other local topics whether on snorkeling areas, local and Mayan culture, and other birding opportunities on the Yucatan Peninsula were just an added bonus. We look forward to another visit when we go back to spend time on the peninsula proper. Thanks again Elvis! D&L

Great Birding Experience! - On October 15, 2025 my husband and I went birding with Elvis Jimenez in Cozumel. We were in Cozumel on a cruise ship stop. We had a great time and were completely impressed with Elvis’ bird identification skills and the number of birds we saw. We saw over 50 or 60 species that day. My husband is not a birder, but he had a good time. It was a great way to spend the morning and I highly recommend Elvis to anyone considering a bird outing.

Exceptional Birding - Elvis Jimenez is a delightful person and a 5 star birder. He introduced us to 17 species that we had not previously seen. He was very patient in helping us to get excellent photos. We highly recommend him.
