Unforgettable Moments - San Miniato is one of the most gorgeous places we have ever visited. Full of history and culture. Our guide Sara took us to a beautifully decorated church, through the streets greeting the locals, and to the highest part in the village, the tower. The views were truly a work of art, unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. My grandmother is from SM and we were hoping to find the home she grew up in. Sara guided us to the correct address along the tour. She was set to take our picture when we realized that someone was home. It turns out my grandmas niece still lives in the family house! Sara was able to translate while we exchanged addresses and phone numbers so she would be able to contact my mother back in America. This was an incredible gift for my family and would never have been possible without Sara’s kindness and flexibility along the tour. Take a day away from the cities of Italy and discover this beautiful village in the hills of Tuscany. Thank you Sara for a truly unforgettable moment in my life. Grazie Mille!!

San Minato tour - Sarah is a good communicator and very good with technology. She was in contact with us and let us know exactly where we should meet her. The San Miniato tour was excellent, it was a good balance between historical facts and personal insight. Making history come alive always makes facts more interesting. For example, we learned a lot about the importance of truffles and events of WW2 in this little hill town. Well worth the time and expense. One of the better tours that we had in Tuscany on this trip.

A Gem That Deserves Coming Back To - My wife and I had passed through San Miniato about 5 years ago on a short overnight stay, arriving late and leaving early. However, this beautiful town left a lasting impression and were glad to have the opportunity to return and learn more about it. We booked a tour titled ‘Discover San Miniato’ and it exceeded our every expectation. Sara, our guide, provided an expert overview of the history and architecture of the town and its environs starting with a discussion of the harvesting of White Truffles, a specialty in the area. Because of its prominence to the surrounding topography, San Miniato has architectural evidence of being settled even before the paleolithic era and its desirable location has attracted friend and foe over the centuries. From the breathtaking views of the countryside at the top of the Tower of Fredrick II to the beauty and tragic history of the towns’ Duomo, San Miniato will beguile your heart. Again, we cannot thank Sara enough for sharing her knowledge of this lovely town with us!

San Miniato Off the Tourist Path - Sara grew up in San Miniato and shared unique information about the lovely town. Although the tower and Assunta Church were closed on Monday we still had a lovely tour. San Miniato is a great place to stay and easy to get to via train.

Discovering San Miniato - Sara was a very good guide, punctual for the appointment, precise and expert in the historical introduction to San Miniato and therefore in leading us through the streets and alleys of the town expertly describing each church or building both outside and inside. His tour was both fun and very informative for us. We truly thank you and absolutely recommend you. Luca and Valeria Durelli from Turin

Very nice visit to a mideval town with lots of history with a lovely guide - The tour guide, Sara, contacted us on whatapp to set the meeting point and time easily and clearly. The tour itself was lovely, San Miniato is a small quiet town but has a lot of emotional hystory and there is no better way to discover it rather than with Sara, who was extremely nice and knowledgeable.
