Dream Day on the Sea Lounge - We stepped onto this beautiful boat and recognized this was a 5 star excursion. We were offered Rum Punch and water immediately while we listened to the lovely island music. The boat is gorgeous with a nice bathroom and plenty of shaded areas. We cruised at a slow speed to Hol Chin where Chris guided us through the reef. Hol Chin is popular and crowded. But Chris helped us steer clear of some of the crowds. We then went to Shark Alley and saw many nurse sharks.
We stopped for lunch at Caye Caulker - a very interesting place. We ate at the first restaurant we saw. If we went again we would do some research to try one of the other places to eat. Then we fed the tarpon and got ice cream.
Bliss Beach was a planned stop but was closed because of the election. But we were able to let our kids go down the slide on the boat. We swam for a while and then headed home.
We had a good amount of time on the boat and made friends with the other guests. It was a dream day we won’t forget!

Perfect sunset cruise - I had such an amazing time on the Sea Lounge. Even though the sun set behind the clouds it was still beautiful. The owner, Bigz, and crew made me feel comfortable and safe as a solo guest and the other people on the boat were friendly and fun! The rum punch was actually good! I loved that they had the option of sweat or sour punch. They even made a special spicy one that was excellent. The music was upbeat and the appetizers were spot on. Having a bathroom on the boat was greatly appreciated by many too. I highly recommend the Sea Lounge and heard they do private tours for groups too!

STUNNING Ride to Secret Beach! A must-do! - During our weeklong stay in San Pedro we did several side trips - including to Caye Caulker, and a couple snorkeling excursions, but the Sea Lounge trip to Secret Beach was one of our absolute favorites.
We had heard a lot about Secret Beach and wanted to make a day trip there. Our hotel concierge mentioned we could travel there by golf cart – almost 2 hours each way. We experimented with the golf cart but decided it would be a bit (!!) of a rough ride. We had also heard about a new Sea Lounge boat that was doing a couple trips per day to Secret Beach and decided to check it out. So glad we did as it was AMAZING!!
The brand-new custom designed tritoon boat leaves from Mahogany Bay. The boat is pristine – with an open-air lower deck for shade and an open upper deck with both covered and uncovered areas. It is a VERY smooth and scenic ride. The onboard service includes nice background music, and a bar with water, juice, prosecco, rum punch and other beverages. The crew (Biggs the owner/designer, Julio our captain and Zeto our hospitality person) are all incredibly friendly and we appreciated their ability to interact as much or as little as passengers want.
After a beautiful and relaxing ride, we pulled into Secret Beach – with several great restaurants many of which have the option to have food and drinks at their tables located in the water (so fun!). We walked along the beach and ended up at Happy Island – lunch in the water and very comfortable lounge chairs on the beach (both sun and shade available). During the trip back we were able to enjoy an absolutely stunning sunset with a lovely glass of prosecco. A wonderful day! We would do it again in a heartbeat!!

Elegant Secret Beach Expedition at Sunset with High-Octane Rum Punch and Top-notch Crew - We didn’t know what to expect when we booked the sea lounge to Secret Beach. I was traveling with my parents so I wanted to find an experience that was somewhere in between fun and luxurious and enjoyable for the whole group.
We were met at the dock with a full crew that was eager to explain and demonstrate what we had in store for us.
The cruise itself is a slow cruise on a very nice/upgraded pontoon boat that is honestly one of the nicest pontoon boats I’ve ever seen in my life after years growing up on north Texas lakes. That being said, they also had a very nicely decorated bar built into the boat that was staffed by an entertaining gentleman from Tampa, who gave us lots of inside tips and secrets about the island.
We also had the pleasure of speaking with the proprietor about his journey to starting this tour company and what brought him to Belize.
Once we arrived at Secret Beach , we had a lovely time drinking and enjoying the sun and scenery. The staff was ready for any request and also able to dynamically pivot plans on the fly in a way that we haven’t seen in many years coming to Ambergris Caye.
Not to be corny or anything, but it felt like an afternoon with old friends despite being a paid for a tour excursion.
A few speed bumps came up on the tour that had nothing to do with the tour or the operator itself, but before we could react the tour, staff had already come up with a way to circumnavigate any potential stress that might’ve come up in the form of alternative routes/activities.
We had some of the best views that I’ve had in over 15 years of coming to Belize during the sunset portion of the cruise, which really was the cherry on top.
The rum punch was also surprisingly good, which is something not expected in an island destination where absolutely everywhere anywhere serves rum punch so… Nicely done, gentlemen.
