Valle De La Luna - The tour begins by departing from the center of San Pedro de Atacama, heading towards the Cordillera de la Sal in the Atacama Desert, known as the driest place on earth. The destination is the Valley of the Moon, one of the most scenic spots. The name itself hints at the landscape, featuring rock formations sculpted by erosion, salt crusts, the Duna Mayor, and views that evoke a sense of being on another planet. The tour traverses the valley, visiting its renowned rock formations: the Tres Marías, the Canyon, and the Amphitheater. The tour concludes with a sunset view from the Licarantay viewpoint, where the desert’s changing colors and the large volcanoes on the horizon create a breathtaking spectacle. Tickets are not included.

Hidden Lagoons of Baltimache Tours

Lagunas Escondidas - The journey takes about an hour, showcasing the desert landscape’s color variations. Upon arrival at the entrance of the hidden lagoons of Baltinache, there are restroom facilities available before continuing the tour. The path leads through five lagoons, with only the first and last suitable for bathing. Due to their high salt content, visitors can experience a floating effect similar to the Dead Sea. After exploring this attraction in the Atacama Desert, the return journey begins, with a stop at the entrance facilities to use the restrooms and showers to rinse off the salt. The return trip includes watching the desert sunset before reaching the center of San Pedro de Atacama.

Geyser Tours of Tatio, Machuca, and Cactus Valley

Geyser del Tatio - Geysers del Tatio offers a one-of-a-kind experience. The tour to the Tatio Geysers departs at dawn from San Pedro de Atacama towards the Altiplano, ascending the Andes Mountains’ hills and peaks. After a 1.5-hour journey, the tour arrives at the Geysers, a unique natural wonder with 80 steaming geysers at an altitude of 4200 meters. In this natural setting, a refreshing breakfast is served, followed by a tour of the geothermal field, surrounded by numerous steam columns. Visitors can also explore the rustic pool within the field. On the return to San Pedro de Atacama, there is a stop at the Putana River to observe the local flora and fauna, followed by a visit to the town of Machuca, where llama anticuchos, empanadas, and other regional delicacies are available for purchase.

Entrance ticket to Geysers del Tatio is not included (CLP $15,000 per person).
