From the summit, you can view the Salt Range, the Domeyko Range, the Andes Range, its volcanoes, the vast Salar de Atacama, and the ALMA Observatory. Following this, descend to the iconic Three Marys. The guide will share the original story of these natural sculptures, known as “Los Vigilantes” by the native Licanantay (Atacameños) of this desert. Continue to the Victoria Mine to explore some recent history of salt exploitation for large-scale mining, and observe the remnants of their industry.
