Looks like a lie of so beautiful - Wonderful experience! The guide knew everything, we were impressed with so much knowledge of her. The photos are perfect! In the end a charming cocktail, I will never forget what she said as we admired the sky: "Looks like a lie né". It seemed like a very beautiful lie.

Tremendous experience: very prepared - I took 5 tour with my family and it was tremendous experience, they are prepared in every way. Tour guide Francisca Ibacache was super prepared, friendly, helped us taking pictures 🩷, the drivers, Pia and Lidia of the astronomical, all tremendous quality of people, it was certainly the best decision we made

Horizonte's astronomical... - Horizonte's astronomical tour was the best out of 3 different tours we did in the area. The most notable strengths of this tour (compared to the others) were the number and quality of the telescopes, the quality of the photographs, and the organization/execution/flow of the experience. Other experiences had slightly more things to view or slightly better snacks/beverages, but those probably aren't as important to most guests. If you can only do 1 astro tour, this one's a safe choice.

Lack of efficiency in communication and customer attention - We arrived at the agency of Horizonte Atacama, at Rua Caracoles, at the time indicated on the tickets for the Astronomico Tour and, only there, we were informed that the pssseo would leave 1 hour and 45 minutes later. They did not admit the error at any time, claiming that I had been communicated by email, which is not true. I opened the email, including the spam box, and demonstrated that no communication had been made. The other tours, I contracted with a competitor company (Puka Rumi), and I could notice the difference in quality and efficiency in communication and customer care. As for the Tour itself, everything went well, except for the fact that we hired (and this was also included in our tickets) a guide in Portuguese, and the one who provided the service only spoke Spanish and English. In any case, the guide named Pia (I don't know if outsourced) performed her work very well at the site of astronomical observation, demonstrating knowledge and good dealings with the group.

Find another company for this experience - Did two tours while in San Pedro. This was the lesser of the two. First the tour time on visitor was off. I registered for a 1900 (thinking it started early with a meet and greet and then started when night fall occurred). Nope officially started around 2100. Felt very commercial and processed. Met up for the tour, no one said anything, just followed the group to the shuttle. Quiet drive to a dark area. No instructions or explanation. We then walk along a cute lit trail of wood crate pallets. To a large circle of chairs. Then the group explains everything (30minutes into the experience). We did see some amazing stars, lights, galaxies and awesome telescopes. The photographer was great and photos came out exceptionally well too. The group just felt too large to be personable and you couldn’t see the staff or group you were with. Again they should introduce themselves before going out. To add to that, I ate something wrong (thinking it was a chicken empanada) before the tour. Started having severe stomach pains (luckily I’m a Doctor so I could treat myself), but when I walked back to the shuttle seeking help leaving. I was met with we will be leaving in 15-20 minutes. I couldn’t get an Uber being 15mins away from town and driver didn’t care till I said hospital. Then 20 minutes later (so still the same end time) I was taken back promptly to town and was offered the hospital (thank you for that), but again being a clinician I knew I had meds to treat myself, so went home. Overall 3/5, I wouldn’t recommend this company for this experience. Go with a 5 star reviewed company.

Our driver didn’t show up... - Our driver didn’t show up and pick us up. They did respond today saying they had let me know on WhatsApp that they were going to be an hour and 15 late. I haven’t used my WhatsApp in a couple of years so I refreshed and updated it. I did not receive any kind of notification. I also never received an email or a call (they have both my email and phone number). I am awaiting a refund.
