• Laguna Lejia - The Lascar volcano is the most active in northern Chile. Its peak features six craters, with the central one emitting a continuous fumarole rich in sulfur, visible from many kilometers away. The climb is manageable, though it requires a few hours due to the steep incline. Upon reaching the summit at 5,592 meters, there is a breathtaking view awaiting!

At approximately 7 a.m., the journey reaches the Lejía Lagoon, which spans 1.9 km² and is situated 4,200 meters above sea level. During the winter months, its waters are frozen. Here, a breakfast stop is made to enjoy the breathtaking scenery, highlighted by the Chiliques, Láscar, Aguas Calientes, and Acamarachi volcanoes. It is common to encounter vicuñas, flamingos, and even gnomes that wander freely in this virtually untouched area. After the meal, the final stretch is completed by vehicle, taking a few more minutes to arrive at the slopes of the Láscar volcano.
