Lagunas Escondidas - The tour departs from San Pedro de Atacama heading southeast. The hour-long journey showcases the desert’s changing colors. Upon arrival at the hidden lagoons of Baltinache, guests can use the facilities before continuing. The path leads through five stunning lagoons, with only the first and last suitable for swimming. Due to their high salt content, visitors can experience a floating sensation similar to the Dead Sea. After exploring this desert marvel, the return journey includes a stop at the entrance facilities for showers to remove the lagoon’s salt. The tour concludes with a sunset view in the desert before returning to the center of San Pedro de Atacama.
