Toconao, also known as Kunza Rincón Perdido, captivates with its simplicity, the tranquility of its residents, unique climate, stunning architecture, and crafts. The journey begins with a visit to the outskirts of the Salar de Atacama, specifically Laguna Chaxa in Sector Soncor R.N.L. F. Following this, the route leads southeast towards the Andes Mountains to the Socaire Altiplanic Town, where visitors can explore its church and learn about local agriculture. Once settled in the Andes, the journey continues to approximately 4200 meters above sea level to discover the Miscanti and Meñiques Lagoons. These lagoons, part of the R. N. Los F., are distinguished by surrounding volcanoes and mountainous landscapes, including the Miscanti Hill and Meñiques Volcano. The lagoons are fed by groundwater from melting ice. The adventure proceeds along the southern Andes slopes to the Salar de Talar, popularly known as Piedras Rojas, where the rocks undergo natural oxidation and weathering.
