Sunset in Valle de la Luna - An excellent alternative, I went in the afternoon, the best option according to me, in the evening. We advise you to take the tour there, as you have many more options and duties prices

I felt like one of the Star Wars movies - Second tour we did with the company and we gave the luck to go out with guide Ernesto, which was a guarantee that it would be a very rich experience. A place more beautiful than the other and very educational, very nice to know and understand a little more of local history. I highly recommend!

Excellent guide - Great tour with an amazing tour guide. He had so much knowledge about this area and you could see how much he likes his job. There were people from all age groups and all the little walks we did were managable for everyone. Would 100 % recommend.

Not to be Missed - A great tour of Valle de la Luna. Felipe was very knowledgeable and took us on a route that showed us some of the best views. Other groups we saw were taken a different way, missing out on some of the best sites . We went on a day that was forecast to rain later so the itinerary was brought forward by a couple of hours. The company communicated this to everyone so nobody missed out. The tour itself is stunning and not to be missed!

A Earth trip to the surface of the Moon - Unparalleled visuals. The guide Alex was fundamental to the experience. He told us a lot about the rocky formations and the history of both the place and the country.

Great experience in the Valley de la luna - The activity was great. I was traveling alone, but felt in good hands. It would be a cool squad. The driver and the guide did their job with bravura. Great knowledge. The route was perfect. Not too demanding, so perfect for a small afternoon activity. The end was crowned with super delicious snacks such as nuts and fruits. Etc, pisco sour and fresh juices. After that a great sunset.

Okay… sunset was the highlight… guide good - The park involved two walks uphill through sand each about 30 minutes; I did only one which I found tough in my mid-60’s. They are not mentioned online when booking or at any time before the park. But sunset viewing is outside of the park (seems to close at 7pm) along the road I think to Calama…without any uphill hike,.. now those were the amazing views. It’s super hot in the day. I think doing Salar de Uyuni might have taken the gloss off the Valle as I’d skip the park and get to the sunset only if I were someone with a wonky knee or didn’t need the strenuous uphill hike or dust dose in the arvo breeze. For young or fitter persons, the park might be nice early morning at own speed without the crowds. All that said, our guide, Ernie, was beaut! Multilingual. Smile pasted across his face even when a grimace might be hidden in dealing with situations where participants walk on stones outside of the paths instead of the stones inside of the path and find themselves (and don’t forget poor Ernie) falling foul of the ever vigilant path police.
