Great tour - Evelia was a great guide, she speaks English very well, has amazing stories to tell, and patiently and accurately answered all our questions and more. Thanks to her, we had an amazing day and many unforgettable experiences. She took us to special, authentic places all around the lake, and introduced us to the actual people making authentic, artisanal products like honey, chocolate, woven fabric, and more. It was amazing to hear the actual people explain and demonstrate their craft. We learned some surprising facts about the region and it's people (that I won't spoil for you here). A big plus for us was knowing all proceeds for this tour go to local people, like Evelia. I highly recommended this tour, and Evelia as a tour guide. Matyox chawe, Evelia!

Great tour! - Vick was amazing - we had such a great time on the tour. Lake Atitlan was so vibrant with tons to do and learn about. We loved San Juan the most with the chocolate factory and weaving co-ops. Vick is very knowledgeable and was very patient with us as we wandered around and asked many questions to get to know the culture! Highly recommend

A Wonderful Day at Lake Atitlan - Victor was very accommodating and informative. We never felt rushed and learned a lot about the three villages that we visited. He even arranged for special Transportation from nearer to our hotel. We had a terrific day on his tour!

My husband and I took... - My husband and I took this tour with Vick and enjoyed our day. We were staying in San Pedro, so it was a nice way to explore two other villages (plus San Pedro) on Lake Atitlan. The tuk-tuk rides were fun, and I especially enjoyed the lancha to Santiago. The tour was a bit more focused on shopping than we expected, primarily in San Juan, but I really enjoyed visiting a women's collective for weaving. We also visited a church in each of the 3 villages, a market, a park with a cool sculpture of the lake and its villages, a bee farm, and a chocolate factory. I think the tour could benefit from a little more information on the history and culture of the villages, but overall it was a nice way to spend the day and I'm happy we did it.

Great tour with a kind and knowledgeable local guide - We really enjoyed this private day trip to the Atitlan Indigenous Villages. The tour company was accommodating as we stayed in Santiago Atitlan and the guide and private lancha met us there. It was a full day tour. We visited San Juan and San Marcos and then returned to Santiago. We most enjoyed visiting the Women’s Textile Cooperative, the bee hives and walking through the streets learning about the local communities. An impromptu stop was at the community outdoor covered gym and we looked at the beautiful artwork along the walls. We most appreciated our guide who knew nice cafes to stop and have a beverage with good views, arranged the Tuk Tuk rides and private lancha for us so we never had to wait. She was 21 years old and was very kind and spoke great English.
