A Leap into the Canopy

As a seasoned surfer, I’ve spent countless hours riding the waves and feeling the ocean’s embrace. But every now and then, I crave a different kind of thrill, one that takes me above the treetops and into the heart of the rainforest. That’s how I found myself in San Rafael, ready to embark on the Rain Forest Canopy Tour adventure.

The day started with a short Uber ride from my hotel, just a stone’s throw away from the Carpintera Hills. The anticipation was palpable as we arrived, and after a quick briefing, we were whisked away to the starting point. The climb up 600+ steps was a challenge, even for someone used to paddling out against strong currents. But the promise of soaring through the canopy kept my spirits high.
