- San Vicente Pacaya - The hike begins at an elevation of around 1,900 meters (6,300 feet) above sea level. The trail includes some steep sections, but the pace will be leisurely, with ample opportunities to rest, take in the scenery, and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Depending on the pace, the ascent may take between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Remember, there’s no need to rush; it’s not a race! The effort will be rewarded upon reaching the closest point to the crater.
- Pacaya Volcano - At the summit, there will be time to soak in the unique energy of this active volcano. Surrounded by panoramic views and the striking beauty of cooled lava fields, one can truly appreciate the vitality and majesty of nature. About an hour will be spent here, enjoying the scenery and a delightful volcano-cooked picnic before starting the descent.
