Chalkio - Situated on the Tragaia plateau in central Naxos at an elevation of 270-280 meters, Halki is a charming and distinctive village. It is renowned for its architecture and neoclassical mansions. Visitors can explore the citrus museum, sample various citrus products, and purchase this unique distillate. Additionally, one can stroll through the village’s traditional alleys and visit the local shops.

Filoti - Filoti is a semi-mountainous village in central Naxos, located at the base of Mount Zas at an altitude of approximately 400 meters and about 18.2 km from Chora. It is the largest village in Naxos and one of the largest in the Cyclades. Nestled at the foot of the highest mountain, Zas, it comprises three settlements: Rachidi, Klefaros, and Liouri.
The church of Panagia Filotitissa is a notable landmark, dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin. This basilica, built in 1718 on the site of an ancient Byzantine church, is a highlight. Filoti thrives on livestock products, agriculture, and a burgeoning tourism industry. Visitors can explore numerous folklore museums, the church of Panagia, and shops offering tourist items and traditional products. Additionally, there are cafes and taverns serving local meats and cheeses from free-range animals.
