Day 1: Gondar to Sankobar via Buit Ras. (3300m)
Sankaber - The journey begins with a pickup from the hotel in Gonder around 8 am, followed by a 2-hour drive to Debark in a 4×4 vehicle. The road to Debark is paved. Upon arrival in Debark, registration at the park headquarters is required, where the guide and scout will join the group for the ascent into the mountains (also by 4×4). The road extends to the first camp at Sankaber, but there will be a drop-off point for a relaxed three-hour acclimatization hike. The breathtaking views are immediate upon exiting the vehicle, as the path follows the ridge. There will be an opportunity to pause for a picnic lunch, and after a brief yet challenging climb (due to the altitude) to Sankaber, a welcoming tray of fresh coffee, tea, and snacks will be ready, as is customary each day of this trek.
Day 2: Sankabar to Geech(3600m)
Day 3: Geech (3,600m) – Imet Gogo (3,926m) – Siha Gorge – Kedar Dit – (3,600m) Ambaras to Gondar
