It was a great tour, lots to see. The only thing to improve would be to stop longer at each site to take pictures.

The driver/tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about Santa Barbara history, but for me it was too focused on very *early* SB history. The story about the Clark Mansion was fascinating, but I thought he spent too much time talking about the Chumash Indians, battles in the Mexican-American War, and the guy who founded Beanie Babies buying up half the city. I tuned out when he was describing the mid-1800s battles. (Also, it was a little hard to hear him.) My main critique, though, is that we were told we would see Santa Barbara’s “Riviera” (honestly the #1 reason we decided to take the tour), but when I asked the driver if we were going to see it, he said there wasn’t enough time. I guess all in all if you don’t have a car and this is the only way you can see the city, go ahead and spend the $35 pp. But if you’re trying to see the super fancy neighborhoods, you’ll have to do that on your own.
