Situated over 2,000 meters above sea level in Teide National Park, the moonlit terrain is remarkably otherworldly. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is illuminated in a silver glow with minimal light pollution. Using our professional telescopes, the Moon’s intricate details are unveiled: craters, mountain ranges, and expansive lunar seas that are invisible to the naked eye.
Groups are intentionally kept small to ensure each guest has the opportunity to look through the telescope and receive personalized attention from our Starlight-certified guides.
The tour commences with a naked-eye sky orientation, highlighting constellations, the Polar Star, the zodiacal zone, planets, and more.
Subsequently, guests transition to the professional telescopes for an unforgettable close-up view of the Moon, along with any visible planets and other luminous objects like clusters. A second telescope, dedicated to astrophotography, captures real-time images during the tour, which are sent to guests afterward as a complimentary gift. With over 20 years of experience, we are among Tenerife’s most reputable astronomical operators.
