• Santa Fe - This Route 66 tour offers a unique experience as it follows the original path, much of which is not marked on modern maps. This authenticity allows guests to travel along the historic Route 66, a route many are unaware of. The tour parallels the current I-25, crossing it over 10 times, uncovering hidden segments and alignments of the pre-1937 Route 66. Some stops will be made to explore these areas, none of which are mapped.
• Canoncito - At this stop, guests will visit a Veterans Memorial known as AL’s Place, also referred to as the Gettysburg of the West. Here, they can explore where the original Route 66 once passed, now overgrown with grass and weeds. The tour includes a discussion on the battle of Apache Canyon and a look at sections of the road that are deteriorating.
• Glorieta - This location features remnants of the original Route 66 and the site of the battle of Glorieta Pass.
• Pecos National Historical Park - Lunch will be enjoyed at Pecos National Park, where guests can choose to explore the park with a lead guide, shop at the visitor center, and savor a pre-selected box lunch. Visitors can leisurely explore the park, capturing photos and appreciating the ruins of the Pecos Pueblo people, who inhabited the area from 800 AD to the early 1800s.

• Romeroville - Near the tour’s conclusion, guests will visit another historic community that once flourished. They will see a disused bridge, one of three, and gain insight into the various alignments and changes of the Route over time.
