• Hierve el Agua - The itinerary includes a visit to the town of Roagia, home to the stunning petrified waterfalls of Hierve el Agua. Participants will have 2 hours of free time to hike, take in the views, and enjoy the natural pools. Cash is needed for entry fees or access.
• San Pablo Villa de Mitla - A lunch stop is planned at a restaurant offering a buffet of traditional Oaxacan cuisine. Be sure to have cash for food and drinks.
• Teotitlan del Valle - The tour includes a visit to a master craftsman’s workshop, where the process of creating famous wool textiles, from yarn to pigments and fabric, will be demonstrated.
• Zona Arqueologica de Mitla - The group will explore the archaeological site of Mitla, with a guided tour lasting approximately 40 minutes to 1 hour. Participants will learn about the site’s history and experience the enchanting atmosphere of these ancient structures. Cash is required for entry fees or access.
• Teotitlan del Valle - The tour will also include a visit to a mezcal factory and expedition, where local staff will explain the production process of this traditional Oaxacan spirit. A tasting of various mezcals and mezcal creams will be offered.
