• Cascadas de Llano Grande - Embark on a picturesque journey from the coastal bays of Huatulco to the mountainous village of Llano Grande, home to roughly 90 residents. The drive, taking about 1 hour and 45 minutes, offers a chance to observe the changing flora and fauna as we ascend into the mountains. The rugged dirt paths provide a sensory feast of vibrant jungle hues and sounds, instilling a sense of peace and a deep connection with the natural world. Upon reaching the main waterfall, we’ll have around 90 minutes to bask in the refreshing waters.

• Llano Grande - Once we arrive at the coffee plantation, we’ll set out on a 15-minute riverside walk, punctuated with opportunities to capture stunning photos and encounter charming mini waterfalls and inviting pools perfect for a cool dip.

After our time in the water, we’ll return to the plantation for a hearty Oaxacan meal featuring dishes like black mole, pot black beans, pork carnitas, along with coffee, fresh drinks, and mezcal. The adventure continues with an informative session on organic coffee cultivation, followed by a visit to a local herbalist to learn about the medicinal uses of regional plants that are integral to the community’s traditions. There will also be time for shopping before we commence our journey back to Huatulco.
