Four Holy Basilica Tours - My husband and I they really enjoyed the four Basilica tour with Dina as our tour guide and her colleague Stefano. Dina was very professional and knowledgeable all the subject matters. She gave us time to explore and pray and attend Mass at the Basilicas. It was truly a magnificent experience and a full day learning more about the history of our faith. We highly recommend Dina for an expert tour of the four Basilicas.

Full Endorsement - Welcome Italy was such a great way for my wife and I to experience a full trip in Rome. We actually had three separate excursions with them. First we went to Castel Gandolfo and Nemi. After a full three days in Rome, this was such a quiet and relaxing day. Antoinetta was so personable and made us feel at home, and our driver Pietro was great. The second day we traveled with Marie and Pino to Orvieto and Assisi. Again, both were professional and it felt like we were traveling with old friends by the end of the day. Our third day we traveled with Cascia and Spoleto. Another day of being immersed with a rich understanding of the history thanks to our guide, Juliana, and driver Flavio. Disclaimer here… my wife and I are Catholic, and from that perspective we felt so close to the history of the church. The guides did a great job of understanding that and catering to it each day. Their recommendations on restaurants while traveling were top notch as well. I cannot say enough good things about the days we spent with Welcome Italy and will absolutely be using their services on our next trip to Italy!

Wonderful experience - Both Monika and Marco were excellent guides who not only told us the history of the places but also the stories behind myths , legends, truths. Also managed to help us book the specific restaurant we wanted to eat in Orvieto and time the tour accordingly.

Engaging and entertaining experience! - Safe driving and knowledgeable guides especially in Assisi - Marco was very engaging and helped link the history of St Francis to various parts of history of the town. He made the most out of the less than ideal foggy weather and we still enjoyed the experience. Orvieto was beautiful , quaint and Monika our guide was accommodating enough to help us book a specific restaurant. She also introduced the best gelato in the town! All in all a great experience.

St Francis tour - Since it’s a semi-private tour, you don’t just learn history—you absorb it. Orvieto gives you the warm-up, but Assisi? That’s the final exam. You’ll also get to know your fellow tourists extremely well. After 10–12 hours together, you’ll know their favorite snacks, random life stories, and possibly their biggest regrets. Even your tour guide and driver will get in on the jokes—because at that point, you’re basically a tiny traveling family. Our guide, Stayce, was super involved and encouraged us to ask every question that popped into our heads. And our driver Roberto—who not only looks like Jason Statham but drives like him—got us to and from each stop safely and in style. We had a great time! Oh, you'll also get a different but very knowledgeable tour guide when you get to Assisi. You can ask if you can stop in where Carlo Acutis is, maybe you'll get lucky, We did!

Pilgrimage to Assisi and Orvieto - Marie and Natalia were fantastic as tour guide and driver respectively. Maria gave us a good histories and facts of the Umbria region. I sat up front next to Natalia and she talked a bit too about the electric vehicle we were in and how our trip will proceed. I like the fact that the electric vehicle was clean to us and to the environment - no smelly car fumes. Marie was very knowledgeable about her own church in Assisi and about the Duomo in Orvieto too. In Assisi, we appreciated the stories told by Marcos. He talked just about the right amount to give us the stories of Francis and Clare, the two major saints, and a bit about the new one of Assisi. The art work in Assisi were fine, not as intricate as the best for the Pope. Nevertheless the people of Assisi and Orvieto are rightfully proud of their fine places of worship. My family really enjoyed the histories and the sights, so intertwined with the histories.
