- Fontona - Fontona is the largest oasis on Sal Island, situated near Palmeira Village on the northeast coast.
- Palmeira - Palmeira is a vibrant fishing village with colorful, traditional Cape Verdean houses. Located in the northwest of the island, it hosts the main port.
- Buracona - Blue Eye Cave - Note: The actual stop will be Regona, a stunning natural swimming pool near Buracona. Due to limitations, it couldn’t be added as a location on the itinerary, so Buracona, the nearest place to Regona, was chosen.
- Terra Boa - Situated in the northern part of the island, Terra Boa is the greenest area of Sal. Here, one can witness the “Mirage” (or “Fata Morgana”), an optical phenomenon where hot light rays reflect distant objects and the sky, creating the illusion of a desert lake.
- Pedra de Lume - Within the crater of an ancient volcano lies the world’s second saltiest water.
- Feijoal - Shark Bay. Walk closely with lemon sharks in this shallow bay on Sal’s eastern coast.
- Serra Negra - On the route to Murdeira, admire Serra Negra, the “Black Mountain,” located in the natural reserve of the east coast. From its summit, enjoy a breathtaking lunar landscape, while at its base lies one of Sal’s wildest beaches, welcoming Loggerhead Turtles in the summer.
- Kite Beach - Sal Cape Verde - This beach is renowned for hosting kitesurfers in the winter and Loggerhead Turtles in the summer. During winter, kitesurfers from around the world flock here for the waves and strong winds. In summer, the bustling beach is replaced by Loggerhead Turtles laying their eggs.

Amazing driving experience - The tour was amazing. Saw places of the island not accessible by bus and the three tour guides also were amazing and kind guys. Telling some interesting facts about Sal. Buggy's were modern, plenty quick and easy to operate except for the doors latches but the guides also were quick to respond of they didnt open or shut properly. Tip, Do some poses for the camera while you're at it! They came out Brilliant and were definitely worth buying afterwards.

Don't hesitate to book! - This was the most fun I've had in a long time! Touring the island with knowledgeable guides who made you feel at ease and added fun and laughter to the day. We more than got our money's worth.
It's bumpy and dusty but the team provides you with all the safety equipment including overalls and a bag on the back to store your belongings. If you don't have a scarf to cover your face they can be purchased for €5 each.
The tour took us up the coast Murderia, Palmeria, the natural swimming pools at Berracoa (not the blue eye), we viewed the salt lakes and Espargos from a high viewpoint, the Terra Boa mirage and on to the lemon sharks. As many reviews have already said, you need to wear water shoes which the locals can rent to you for €3. After the sharks the route to Santa Maria was excellent racing around the sand dunes.
The photographer who joins the trip sells packages of his excellent pictures at the end for €30 and they're emailed to you in around an hour.
Ladies beware, there is 1 toilet stop at the mirage, it's 50 cents to use and had a bit of a queue. Other than that it's wait until you get back 🤣
We would highly recommend this tour as it will be a highlight of your stay in Sal!

Fantastic ending of a beautiful vacation! - We wanted to go for a buggy tour even before coming to the island and already knew it was gonna be with No Limits team! And we are so happy we did it! Since we've already explored the whole island before doing the tour itself, for us it was more for the fun of driving offroad and getting dusty. The guides were amazing, very friendly, funny, always smiling, joking and they really made us feel welcome and cozy! This tour was an amazing ending to our vacation! 🤙🇨🇻

Great buggy experience - Brilliant from start to finish everyone at no limits was friendly and helpful we had a fantastic time. we would highly recommend this to everyone and next we come back we will do another buggy adventure can't wait

Amazing buggy tour with no limits - I have to say this is by far the best excursion I've ever done all the staff were brilliant friendly and helpful the tour was amazing some of the best beaches I've ever seen and for me the driving part was the best bit we are going to come back and we will definitely be doing another buggy excursion brilliant thank you

An experience to repeat! - We did this experiment in a couple last December.
Initially I had some fears but they disappeared when I headed to the No Limits facilities and we were very well served by the Jéssica employee.
In terms of safety and organization, 6 points on a scale of 0 to 5, completely safe and very well organized by the various guides.
A different and risk-free tour of the island’s most remote locations.
Repeat without hesitation.

Great buggy tour - Great Buggy Tour, with high fun factor. The tour was well organized and the guides were super friendly. From hotel pick-up, introduction and explanations as well as the subsequent tour, it all fit. An activity that is only recommended.

1000 cc Buggy was a very nice way to experience the highlights of the Island of Sal. - Pro company and instructors. Overall and helmet included. Nice route, got to see all the highlights on the island. A little short breaks vs. driving time - which suited me better than my wife in the passenger seat :-) I’ve heard from people who have tried both the 500 and 1000 cc that the latter is much more balanced and in general a better vehicle so based on that I would recommend the 1000 cc.
