A must-see ecotourism experience. - We had an in incredible experience with the lemon sharks. Our guide was Elsa, a marine biologist from the Netherlands. She was knowledgeable and a hive of information on not only the lemon sharks, but also the importance of protecting this beautiful species, including how tagging the sharks from a young age will help with conservation. Elsa emphasised the importance of ecotourism within Cape Verde. We were able to see many juvenile sharks, from very young to those ready to join the older sharks in deeper water away from the bay. A must-see if anyone is visiting Sal. My whole family loved this experience.

Baby sharks up close - We were picked up from the hotel on time in a small bus. Our tour guide Ilse has already given us a lot of interesting information about the island and about the sharks on the way. For example, ES is important not to feed the sharks (if we other guides do) because this messes up the day-night rhythm of the baby sharks and they don't learn to hunt properly.
We already knew that the place is visited by many tourists but I can only recommend the tour to this organizer of the! ES was also a fascinating experience for our children and Ilse was a great guide!

Well worth doing - a once in a life time experience - This was such a great experience up close and personal with the baby sharks and learning all about their habitat with a great guide Lizzie. Also knowing that a percentage of your trip cost was going back into helping with the protection of these magnificent beasts

Fantastic experience. - Explore Cape Verde nature excursions via our TUI hotel. Hannah our guide and a marine biologist took our tour, we were so lucky to have her as her knowledge and enthusiasm for sharks was infectious. We had the correct shoes for the tour, but if you don’t you can hire some crocs for €3 . We waded out into the sea, tide was in so we didn’t have to go far, and almost immediately the sharks came up. It was an absolute joy to see them up close. Beware the waves are very strong and there are lots of rocks and uneven ground so you have to be sure footed. The experience was fantastic and I would highly recommend this company to do your tour with.

Must do in Sal! - Great experience! Must do.
Great to see such amazing creatures in their natural environment, there was lots! We could even see the adults further out which was so cool!
It’s roughly £22 per person and it’s something I would absolutely recommend.
When you do this ensure you book through a company that’s ethical. We had a guide who was a marine biologist.
The area isn’t protected and locals do their own tours but splash at the sharks. So don’t support this.

Lemon sharks experience in sai - Booked this trip through tui ,, had a great marine biologist called Hannah, told us every thing we needed to know about the lemon sharks and other sharks around sai ,, we had a wonderful experience paddling in the water, as the lemon sharks swam around everyone and even swimming through our legs,, and we even saw the adult sharks swimming in the distance, once in a lifetime experience, well worth the money, and I'd do it again.

Unique and safe feeling! - Something I never did, but I loved! It's an amazing feeling to see and feel the sharks so close, passing right through their legs. Everything was done safely and the team was impeccable. It's worth it!

Good to do - but just be aware that it’s not the 4 hours as described on the site - it was 2 hours at most: - Easy booking. Easy to change. Lovely and very knowledgeable guide with lots of info about the sharks. Only downside was the other groups taking all the glory of the sharks due to feeding. This rendered us without much to see so we had to move to another group to get the best shark experience. As a result we missed a lots of info.
