- Island Kite School - Sal Island is renowned globally for windsurfing and kitesurfing. Numerous schools offer opportunities to harness the wind and experience the thrill of these exciting sports.
- Pachamama Eco Park - Viveiro Botanical Garden - At Pachamama Ecopark, visitors can enjoy the vibrant colors, shapes, and scents of Cape Verde’s flora, surrounded by animals living in harmony. Interestingly, Pachamama Ecopark initially produced grass for nearby golf courses and housed only a donkey and two goats. Today, it is home to over 300 animals.

Join us as we visit some of the island’s most iconic locations, including Praia e Cais de Santa Maria, Farol do Sinó, Praia do Cemitério das Conchas, Salinas de Santa Maria, and Praia de Kite Surf.
- The duration of each tour varies depending on the number and duration of stops you choose to make. We estimate that the complete activity takes between 2 and 3 hours
- If you do not purchase Spinach insurance, a deposit of €300 is required, which will be returned at the end of the tour if there have been no problems with the car.

Fun way to tour island , Harley is the man! - We went out with Harley who was just fabulous!
We saw the shell beach and went to the salt lakes stopping at other places on the way.
The spinach cars are fun! Loved bombing around in these. We were a family of four so had two cars, we are in our late fifties, kids late 20's so no age limit , just enjoy!.
We had a couple of hiccups, one of the cars needed replacing as Harley didnt like the sound of brakes on one. This was done quickly and with no stress!!
We stopped at a local home where Harley bought us the most delicious sorbet/ice, much needed after soaking in the salt lakes, lovely and refreshing.
We stopped to get charged up allowing us to have a look around town as well, we encoutered an aggressive male unfortunately who seemed to not take no as an answer, which was a real shame, but again Harley stepped in and dealt with him and we walked away.
I definately recommend this activity with a guide. We loved it and as we stayed close by we continued to bump into Harley, we will miss you 😀🥰

Must do - It was a very good experience , we discover the island of sal differently .c is very fun once we took the small car in hand .moreover we discovered the local market ,kite surf beach ,the center of santa maria.our guide was very nice and we loved the music on the tablet throughout the activity.

Fun excursion off the beaten track. - Took this tour with my 7 year old son. It’s the best way to tour the island taking us to places we would not have reached. Antonio our guide was fantastic. The electric cars were lots of fun. This is the tour to do & very good for younger children.

What fun cars we thought, nice to tour with. The virtual guide including local music was also funny. Nice way to discover Santa Maria and all the way off Road towards the salt mines and kite beach. We thought it was a great outing. Super nice host and everything handled neatly!

Great Experience - Exploring Sal in a Spinach was the perfect mix of fun and learning! The electric car was comfy, and the tablet guide made sure we didn't miss a thing. If you're looking for a different plan, this is it!

Fantastic and fun experience - We had a fantastic tour, and found the audio guide informative and funny. We have quite a dry sense of humour and found ourselves laughing out loud with some comments. The cars take a bit of getting used to, but it was good fun.
Edvin went ahead of us, so we simply had to follow him around, but in addition, he was very informed and helpful about some of the locations we stopped at.
Very happy to recommend this company and this tour.

Don't walk under the sun, take a spinach car! - The staff is very friendly, the booking process it's easy, all was ready when arrived at the shop. Even though the roads in Santa Maria are a bit bumpy the car is quite comfortable. The information that is given during the tour gives you a good overview of the history of the island without being boring. It's the best way to know Santa Maria without having to take a long and boring walking tour.
