Super recommended. - The service was very good, attentive throughout. We left 9:30 and returned 16:30, it was many hours on the beach that we definitely enjoyed. They offer you non-alcoholic drinks on board and lunch was delicious. They take you to an area near the beach for snorkeling. They have a paddle that you can use.

This is a ride to Tayrona... - This is a ride to Tayrona Beach more than a guided tour. That said, the guides were attentive and got us to the beach and back with no issues. They dropped us off near a coral reef along the coast about 200 meters from the beach and provided a snorkel and mask (no fins) so we could snorkel the reef, where we saw sea urchins, and a puffer fish among other schools of various fish.

Nice trip - The crew was very friendly. We had some issues with the access to the marina, it seems to require some validation from the sailboat crew, it was corrected after 10 minutes of wainting at the dock and then it was cleared and we could enter (arrive on time). The sailing boat provided some snacks, water and lunch (I tried the fish and it was nice), if you want a beer on board you need to pay cash for it. At Bahia Concha (the beach) carry some loose cash as well, since everything on the beach will have an additional cost (Ex. at the time of our travel, a beer and or a chair was COL $10.000 each, cocktails may cost some more and of course some people will offer massages, always check the price first and try to pay in advance if possible). In general it was a nice trip, sailing was fun, but we used the engine the whole time, I would have loved to use the sails and the wind, I understand this is on the crews decision. Bring/use a lot of sunscreen or sun protection, since you will be most of the time on the direct sunlight. I would recommend this trip, try to go on an off season to best enjoy the beautiful beaches.

Motor Sailing - Overall a good day. We motored all the way to the beach which I understand as there was a strong headwind. Spent the day at the beach and a lot of effort was made for a good lunch. I booked this tour because it was a sailboat and was promised sailing on the way back. It’s a heavy boat, there was good wind and they put up a storm job and motor sailed most of the way back. I had someone ask the captain about it and he turned the motor off for a bit. VERY DISAPPOINTED about lack of sailing so the ad on all tour sites is misleading. The ad even said folks could participate in the sailing. It was a good beach day so will give 4* for that and it was nice to be on the water. If you are looking to actually sail, this isn’t it.

Light and Shadow - Day trip – okay overall, with light and shade We spent a pleasant day overall, but it left mixed impressions. The price-performance ratio was rather mediocre in our view. Food during the boat trip consisted of a small piece of melon and later a 25-gram bag of chips; water or cola was offered in cups. On the way back, we had lightly salted apple pieces – and another small bag of chips, no significant catering overall. Lunch on the beach – fish with some rice and salad – was fine in taste, the portion just enough. Unfortunately, my wife's vegetarian wrap wasn't served until the others were ready. For the plastic chairs on the beach, an additional $5 was requested from the beachmen. Staying on the beach was relaxed: Swimming, paddling and sunbathing were possible and enjoyable. The snorkeling, on the other hand, was rather disappointing – the presented underwater experience fell far short of our expectations. Activities such as sailing or fishing were also announced, but not offered. Positively noteworthy is the friendly and attentive care by our tour guide Naomi, also the guys on board were friendly. Also the group size of only twelve people was pleasant, and the boat was in good condition and clean. Conclusion: A solid excursion with a nice atmosphere, but room for improvement – especially with food and adherence to the announced program items.
