Amazing experience - Amazing day with VelaDelMar We loved everything! Friendliness of staff and service 5 stars We went to a place where there were no other sailboats, they have all the equipment to enjoy (paddle, snorkel, floats...) The sailboat is very comfortable and fits quite a lot of people We were lucky enough to see an amazing sunset when we returned Highly recommended, thank you very much for this magical experience 🫶

Magique, magnifique, inoubliable! - I recommend with your eyes closed this magnificent sailboat ride! Thierry and Esther are welcoming, smiling, concerned about your well-being on board, help us discover magical places in a friendly Mood! Esther prepares something for lunch, Thierry tells you about fauna and flora and their sailing experiences, the music accompanies us in these magical places where you are alone in the world! We were amazed, water color, greenery, calm sailboat, sunset, swimming, etc. Go there without hesitation, it is an experience you will never forget! Long live Colombia and long live Esther and Thierry!

Magical experience: make, remake and make discover those you love! - Magical experience! The sailboat is beautiful, very comfortable and very well maintained. Our hosts, really professional and very attentive made us live an incredible experience making us discover wonderful places where we had the impression of being alone in the world with to finish the afternoon, a sunset on a small background of music... Fun Activity In Santa Marta! - We had a great time on this excursion. A friendly French couple owns the catamaran. They are long-time expats living in Colombia and on the side like to take groups sailing on their boat. They were great hosts and I’d recommend this tour to anyone. We would definitely do it again and hope to in the future!

Cancelled less than 90 minutes prior to departure - Booked the trip night before. Next day just before 1 pm receive a message on WhatsApp asking when I booked it. They claimed they hadn't received an email and would have to cancel. This was my last full day in Santa Marta and ruined plans for the day. Could not rebook later in the week. Review is so others are aware of the risk. I think at the time they cancelled Trip Advisor was still showing that day as available. Obviously there is an issue in the way the tour is setup either on Trip Advisor or with the company. Company claimed they normally needed 48 hours advance notice but again that's not stated anywhere on the page. So page needs to be revised and the scheduling system needs revised.
