Visit locations unreachable by car or tour bus by engaging in a distinct and entertaining activity - riding an electric bike with a small group of six! As you traverse the Venice canals and Santa Monica Beach, you have the option to pedal in the traditional manner or opt for the electric mode. This is a bike tour with a different flair, providing you the opportunity to explore the highlights of Santa Monica and Venice Beach in a small group for a more intimate experience and a local flavor.
- MUST BE COMFORTABLE RIDING A BIKE
- PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES BEFORE TOUR TIME at 9:45am or 1:45pm for check-in and warm-up.
- Minimum age is 13 years and must be 5 foot tall and minimum 100 lbs
- Guideline for maximum age is 70 if you are a comfortable bike rider.
- Children aged 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult
- We recommend you wear closed toed shoes, sunscreen and sunglasses and bring a jacket (all bikes have double saddlebags for small items).
- Tours do not operate in rain
- Important: The tour requires a minimum number of passengers to operate. There is a possibility that the tour may be cancelled after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring you will be provided with an alternate option or full refund.

- Los Angeles/Santa Monica are famous for traffic. Plan for TRAFFIC especially on Freeways.

A 10 out of 5!!!! - A solid 10 stars out of 5!!!!! Don't hesitate to book this tour even if you've done a bunch of bike tours in the past and / or you think you've seen all there is to see in Santa Monica and Venice Beach. This is special and SO MUCH FUN!
Our group of 55-60 yr old girlfriends (all from SoCal) gathered this week for a much needed reunion and Barb's bike tour was the highlight of our trip on every level. In addition to having the expected high quality e-bikes and water bottles for each of us, she also had windbreakers (much needed that day!) and gave us a fantastic orientation on the bikes to make sure everyone was comfortable moving between the various levels on the bike.
The tour took us north of Santa Monica and then back into Venice Beach. Along the way we stopped a number of times to hear history and legendary lore about the area and it's famous residents. Barb was wonderful about staging great pictures for everyone in some iconic spots and while I won't spoil the surprise, the grand finale stop made our day and we're all still talking and laughing about it.

Wonderful ride along the costal boardwalk and beach - Our first time to Santa Monica area my husband and I came with our daughter and son inlaw for the tour. Our guide was Barbara who explained how the bikes work and educated us on the area. We took pictures along the way and had great weather. Would highly recommended this tour for all.

Barb - the tour guide was... - Barb - the tour guide was amazing with her knowledge of the area and stories of the past. The small group was 5 which suited us perfectly.! The bikes were "as new". Highly recommended.

Incredible tour! - Amazing and 100% valuable trip with Stephan, dynamic and huge concentration of interesting points. It’s not possible to visit so much by yourself in such short time.

Beautiful day for a bike ride - I really enjoyed this excursion. The day was beautiful and I'm sure that was added bonus. I went on a Saturday morning. It was pretty crowded in the area. I would suggest a week day if at all possible. The electric bikes were easy to ride and well maintained. We rode a full 3 hours and saw everything as described. Barb was a great tour guide. She explained everything very well and cared about the safety of everyone on the tour. We we rode along Santa Monica Beach, Venice Beach , and the Venice Canals. The scenery was spectacular. I would have liked to have spent more time in Venice Beach but that was my individual preference. I also would have liked a few more chances to take pictures but I decided to lag a little bit behind and take them on my own. Barb stopped at certain locations and took pictures of us individually. I would definitely recommend this tour but I would really want it on a nice day!

Great Experience - I love this tour. We had such an amazing time on the E-bike tour with our family! From start to finish, everything was fun, smooth, and full of great energy. Stephen, our tour guide, was incredible—super friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel comfortable no matter their biking experience.
The route was beautiful and well-paced, with plenty of stops for photos, stories, and laughs. Stephen shared great local insights and made the whole experience feel personal and engaging. Riding the E-bikes was a blast and made it easy to enjoy the scenery without getting too tired.
This tour ended up being one of our favorite parts of the trip, and we can’t recommend it enough. Big thanks to Stephen for making it so memorable!

Japanese family visiting loved it! - Barbara was an exceptional guide being totally prepared, making sure all were safe and telling amazing stories of the history of multiple spots along the ride. My wife's sister and niece were visiting from Japan and could not have had a better time!
