Our Group Lessons are 2 hours long, featuring 20-30 minutes of training on the beach and 50-60 minutes with instructors in the water. The remaining time is for practicing skills and enjoying the surfboards provided.
Group Lessons are designed for beginner to intermediate students, with a minimum age requirement of 12 years.
We use 8 and 9-foot foam top surfboards for Group Lessons. Fiberglass boards are not permitted for safety reasons.
Please note that this is a Group Lesson, and participants will be grouped together. Private Lessons are also available for booking.

Stationed at Venice Beach, we are a surf school focused on delivering an outstanding surfing experience to you, whether you’re a first-timer or wish to enhance your abilities. Your first 30-40 minutes will be spent training on the beach, following which you’ll have an hour of in-ocean guidance from our instructors. Remaining time is allotted for you to put your newly learned skills to use, with the surfboards we supply.

Our teaching location is Venice Beach — one of California’s most popular beaches. Beyond the enjoyment of the sea and surfing activities, you’ll also get a chance to absorb the distinctive vibe of the vibrant cultural haven of Venice Beach.
